Crown lock mechanism-installed timepiece
There is provided a crown lock mechanism-installed timepiece which enables a lock mechanism to regulate an operation of a crown by using a simple operation. A crown lock mechanism includes a winding stem, a crown, a lock screw ring, an extrusion spring, and a regulator. The winding stem is connected to a corrector lever of a movement. The crown is fixed to the winding stem. The crown is capable of engaging with the lock screw ring, and the crown is supported by the lock screw ring so as to be movable in an axial direction. The extrusion spring biases the lock screw spring toward the crown. The regulator regulates the lock screw ring to be located at a predetermined position against a biasing force of the extrusion spring, and holds the crown engaging with the lock screw ring so as to stay at a normal hand operation position.
CROWN ASSEMBLY FOR AN ELECTRONIC WATCH
An electronic watch may include a housing defining a side wall having a through-hole and a crown assembly including an actuation member. The actuation member may include a crown shaft extending through the through-hole and having an exterior portion defining an input surface and a crown ring coupled to the exterior portion of the crown shaft and electrically isolated from the crown shaft. The crown assembly may further include an optical encoder component attached to the actuation member and defining a group of optical features. The electronic watch may further include an optical detector configured to detect rotation of the crown assembly by detecting motion of the group of optical features and an electrocardiograph sensor comprising a sensing component. The sensing component may be conductively coupled to the actuation member via a conductive path at least partially defined by the crown shaft.
CONDUCTIVE CAP FOR WATCH CROWN
An electronic device, such as a watch, has a crown assembly having a shaft and a user-rotatable crown. The user-rotatable crown may include a conductive cap that is mechanically and electrically coupled to the shaft and functions as an electrode. The conductive cap may be coupled to the shaft using solder or another conductive attachment mechanism. The shaft may electrically couple the conductive cap to a processing unit of the electronic device. One or more additional electrodes may be positioned on the exterior surface of the electronic device. The conductive cap is operable to be contacted by a finger of a user of the electronic device while another electrode is positioned against skin of the user. The processing unit of the electronic device is operable to determine a biological parameter, such as an electrocardiogram, of the user based on voltages at the electrodes.
TIMEPIECE, IN PARTICULAR A POCKET WATCH, EQUIPPED WITH AT LEAST ONE COVER
A timepiece, in particular a pocket watch, that includes a case delimited by a middle, the timepiece further including at least one cover covering a device for displaying information, as well as a device for controlling the opening of the at least one cover, this control device including a ring pendant and a command transmission member, the ring pendant arranged such that it is pushed in a rectilinear manner a first time towards the middle into a first abutment position, then such that it is rotated in a first direction into a second abutment position, then such that it is pushed in a rectilinear manner a second time towards the middle so as to cause the cover to open by an action on the command transmission member.
MEMBER FOR CONTROLLING A PLURALITY OF FUNCTIONS OF A TIMEPIECE MOVEMENT
Disclosed is a mechanical movement including an information display device including at least one indicator member for the information, mounted pivoting about a pivot axis A. The movement encloses a cavity receiving at least the indicator member, the cavity being arranged so that the indicator member is housed entirely inside the movement. The movement includes at least one mobile arranged pivoting coaxially with the pivot axis A and including an outer peripheral toothing, the mobile being housed in the cavity and arranged to carry the indicator member. The mobile includes a felloe including the outer peripheral toothing and defining an inner opening, the felloe carrying an arm passing radially through the inner opening in order to be mounted pivoting on the pivot axis A, the indicator member being represented on the arm. Also disclosed is a timepiece including such a mechanical movement.
TIMEPIECE CASE WITH PUSH-PIECE
A timepiece case, including a seat which guides inside it a push-piece for supplying energy, including a control member which can be operated with pressure against resilient return device and which is integral with driving device, the push-piece or the case including a flat cam track, the case or the push-piece including a pivot about which an arm carrying a pin following the profile of this track pivots, which track includes elbows directed towards the pivot and defining stable positions of the pin and ramps arranged so that any pressure applied on the control member when it is in the rest position causes the pin to come out of its stable position and to travel, under the action of the resilient return device, towards another stable position.
CROWN ASSEMBLY FOR WATCHES
A watch can include one or more input components, such as a crown for receiving input from a user. The crown can be an assembly of multiple parts, for example, to provide aesthetic, structural, and/or functional attributes. The parts of the crown can be assembled in a manner that resists separation during use and when subject to environmental influences. For example, the assembled parts of a crown can be resistant to separation while a user wearing the watch is swimming, bathing, or sweating. The assembly can be secured by both mechanical mechanisms and chemical mechanisms.
Cover member for an input mechanism of an electronic device
A watch crown assembly has a body configured to receive rotary input. The body defines a recess and a retention feature. The watch crown assembly further comprises a ceramic member positioned at least partially in the recess and a mounting arm attached to the ceramic member. The mounting arm is engaged with the retention feature of the body, thereby retaining the ceramic member to the body.
Device with axial lock and retention device and methods therefor
A device includes a case having a case sidewall defining a circular receiver having a receiving opening and a central axis. A device body, which is waterproof in one or more applications, includes a sidewall defining a receiving aperture. A crown stem includes a push button disposed within a duct of a threaded bushing and one or more O-rings disposed about the actuation stem to allow translation of the actuation stem in the duct while preventing liquids from passing through the duct. The crown stem inserts through the aperture in the case so that the threaded bushing can hermetically seal the receiving aperture when the device body is inserted into the circular receiver to prevent the liquids from entering the receiving aperture.
