A hook for adjusting versatile widths has a body and a gasket. The body has a base and a hook body. The hook body is disposed on the base. The gasket has a hole and a plurality of protruding structures. The protruding structures are disposed around the hole. The different thicknesses of the protruding structures correspond to the different peripheral positions of the hole. The hook body penetrates through the hole of the gasket, and the gasket is able to rotate on the hook body.

This invention provides a hanger for supporting pictures, mirrors or other objects on a wall. Specifically, this invention allows a person to nail the hanger to the wall and if relatively minor adjustments are needed, to remove a screw cap on the nail, remove the hanger and reattach the hanger to the wall using another hole on the hanger that best approximates the desired position, then put the cap back on the nail and screw the cap tight. In another embodiment, spacers can be attached to the hanger so that additional hangers can form a larger hanger and then placed back on the wall through the nail already in place that best approximates the position. Additional nails can then be inserted into some of the other hanger's holes to provide additional support, strength and leveling.

A self-locking device for hanging objects on a mounting surface is disclosed. The self-locking device includes a mounting bracket and a locking arm member engaged with a track portion of the mounting bracket. The track portion comprising a pair of guide portions, a pair of lip portions extending from a lower end of the guide portions, a pair of rotation portions extending from an upper end of the guide portions, and a slot extending between the pairs of guide portions, lip portions and rotation portions. The arm member being mated with the track portion such that the arm member is translatable along the track portion. The arm member comprising a tip portion, a base portion positioned at least partially within the slot, and at least one pair of projections extending from the base portion that engage with one of the pairs of guide portions, lip portions and rotation portions.

A hinge for pivotally securing a frame substantially flush to a mounting surface, the hinge comprising a plurality of leaves and a plurality of articulation points wherein each leaf is connected to two articulation points and movement of at least one leaf connected to each articulation point occurs substantially simultaneously. With four leaves and four articulation points the hinge is configured for fluid movement as the articulation points are utilized or activated concurrently to pivot the frame about the hinge and with respect to a mounting surface. A pair of hinges wherein one hinge may be a mirror image of the other can be used to mount the frame to the mounting surface.

A self-locking device for hanging objects on a mounting surface is disclosed. The track portion comprising a pair of guide portions, a pair of lip portions extending from a lower end of the guide portions, a pair of rotation portions extending from an upper end of the guide portions, and a slot extending between the pairs of guide portions, lip portions and rotation portions. The arm member being mated with the track portion such that the arm member is translatable along the track portion. The arm member comprising a tip portion, a base portion positioned at least partially within the slot, and at least two pairs of projections extending from the base portion that engage with one of the pairs of guide portions, lip portions and rotation portions.

A mounting system that includes a hub which is fixable to a surface to aid in hanging an object on the surface. The wall mount system allows for various applications depending on the item being mounted and/or the preference of the individual mounting the item. The hub is configured to support the use of disparate fasteners, affording a user flexibility to choose between various wall fastening options and combinations therein depending on the application.

An adjustable hanger assembly is provided that includes a slider base and a slider that can be adjusted horizontally and vertically within the slider base. The slider can be held in a position by a fastener such as a threaded fastener. A series of horizontal grooves and ridges on the slider can engage a series of complementary grooves and ridges on the slider base, and the engagement can occur at different heights. The slider can freely move horizontally once inserted into the slider base. The slider base can be squeezed by tightening the threaded fastener to pinch the slider and hold the slider in a desired vertical and horizontal position. The hanger assembly can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally after the slider base is fixedly secured to a wall.

The guide channel is delimited by side walls, wherein engagement areas are formed at least in sections on at least one of the side walls. According to the invention, a slide element is arranged in the guide channel, which can be displaced along the guide channel, wherein the slide element has a carrying element, wherein two spring elements are formed on the slide element, which can engage with the engagement surfaces of the guide channel in a blocking position, and wherein there is a movable locking element on the slide element, which fastens the spring elements at least in the blocking position.
