A watch component is formed of a metal member formed into a component shape. A surface of the metal member includes a coated region being coated with a coating material having a color different from a material color of the metal member and an exposed region from which the material color of the metal member is exposed. A boundary part between the coated region and the exposed region forms a blade-pattern-like design.

Decorative item made of a heavy composite material

A decorative item made from a moulded material having a density of between 2 and 7 g/cm.sup.3, wherein the moulded material includes by weight: 60 to 90% of a metallic or ceramic material having a density higher than or equal to 5 g/cm.sup.3, 10 to 32% of a plastic material including a thermoplastic resin and a coupling agent, 0 to 8% of a reinforcement, 0 to 3% of a pigment. Also, a method of manufacturing this decorative item by injection moulding.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A DECORATIVE SURFACE

A layer of lanthanum boride of stoichiometry LaB.sub.x where x is between 9 and 12 is deposited on substrate, for example a stainless steel watch dial, and subsequently treated with a laser, such that the portion(s) of the layer treated with the laser change colour according to the laser power. This produces multicoloured surfaces having high resistance to corrosion and abrasion. The layer of LaB.sub.x is deposited by PVD and by cathode sputtering, using a LaB.sub.6 target of purple-violet colour, such that the colour of the deposited layer differs from the colour of the target. The laser treatment at specific powers changes the stoichiometry of the layer in the treatment portions, such that the colour of these portions changes according to the stoichiometry obtained. At higher powers, the laser will remove the layer of LaB.sub.x. Thus the colour of the treated portions is determined by the material of the substrate.

TIMEPIECE DISPLAY MECHANISM WITH AN INSTANTANEOUS JUMP FUNCTION
20210173344 · 2021-06-10 · ·

A timepiece display mechanism with an instantaneous jump function, including a Maltese cross mechanism with an annular ring controlling, in part of its travel, the pivoting of a planet wheel set and driven by a timepiece movement via a cam wheel set arranged to move the annular ring from an activated position to a deactivated position in an instantaneous displacement in order to pivot a planet wheel set, and vice versa in a controlled return slower than the instantaneous displacement, the cam wheel set includes a coaxial cam and plate including a slot for driving an eccentric finger of the cam which controls the pivoting of a driver driving the annular ring between two extreme activation and deactivation positions, the slot allowing a clear jump of the driver in the deactivation position, and a longer reactivation time.

MOVING INDICATOR FOR AN ANALOGUE DISPLAY DEVICE

A moving indicator for an analogue display device, in particular for a timepiece. The indicator includes a multi-layer part including an opaque metal layer and a transparent light guide layer and forming a body and a head of the indicator. The head is centred relative to a rotational axis of the indicator and arranged to receive a luminous flux on the bottom face thereof. A fluorescent material is arranged on the transparent light guide layer at the head of the indicator to absorb at least part of said luminous flux and to re-emit a second luminous fluorescence flux in the transparent light guide layer. Other aspects comprise a set of indicators, a display device and a watch comprising one or more moving indicators.

PARAMAGNETIC HARD STAINLESS STEEL AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS THEREOF

A paramagnetic stainless steel with a chemical composition including by weight: 26≤Cr≤40%, 5≤Ni≤20%, 0≤Mn≤5%, 0≤Al≤5%, 0≤Mo≤3%, 0≤Cu≤2%, 0≤Si≤5%, 0≤Ti≤1%, 0≤Nb≤1%, 0≤C≤0.1%, 0≤N≤0.1%, 0≤S≤0.5%, 0≤P≤0.1%, the remainder consisting of iron and any impurities each having a content less than or equal to 0.5%, the steel having a hardness HV10 between 500 and 900. It also relates to a part particularly a horological component made of this steel and to the process for manufacturing the part.

DISPLAY CHANGE MECHANISM

A display mechanism (100) allowing display change with a single display mobile (150) so as to indicate a first piece of information with a first counter (110) and second piece of information with a second counter (120). This change is performed by the permutation of a clutch organ (130) displacing between a first position (131) and a second position (132) when the clutch organ (130) is controlled by a control organ (140).

TIMEPIECE COMPONENT

Disclosed is a timepiece component including at least one housing intended to receive at least one precious or non-precious stone and including at least one first end, referred to as the setting end, and a rail. The rail is located on the periphery of the housing, and is arranged to allow the stone or stones to be inserted into the rail at the first end of the housing, such that the stone or stones can slide in the rail along the longitudinal axis of the housing, and to hold the stone or stones once inserted into the rail in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the housing.

Process for the production of a timepiece provided with a raised external element

The invention relates to a process for the production of a part provided with an external element comprising the following steps: provide an electrically conductive substrate having an upper surface and a pattern forming a recess in said upper surface deposit an electrically insulating layer into the pattern so that the insulating layer extends as far as the upper surface deposit a metal layer onto the upper surface of the substrate by galvanic growth so that at the end of this step the metal layer partly rests on the insulating layer dissolve the insulating layer cover an assembly comprising the substrate and the metal layer with a mass of a base material of the part, wherein the mass forms an imprint of the assembly separate the mass and the metal layer from the substrate, wherein the mass then exhibits an external element with a shape corresponding to the imprint of the pattern.
