Educational clock
An educational clock that includes a base, a minute number line chain including a plurality of minute links pivotably connected together, and an hour number line chain including a plurality of hour links pivotably connected together. The minute number line chain is adjustable between an annular shape configured to removably couple to the base and a linear shape. The hour number line chain is adjustable between an annular shape configured to removably couple to the base concentrically with the minute number line chain and a linear shape. The minute number line chain and the hour number line chain are approximately the same length when each is in its linear shape.
Timepiece
The present disclosure provides a timepiece including: an hour hand and a minute hand, a dial in which a cutout portion is formed, a plate member disposed at a back side of the dial, and an auxiliary hand member disposed at a position corresponding to the cutout portion of the dial in plan view as viewed in a direction along an axis of the hour hand and the minute hand, the auxiliary hand member being configured to function as a scale for indicating the time of day, and to indicate information other than the time of day.
Timepiece
A wristwatch (an example of a timepiece) includes a small dial (an example of a dial) and a rotary disk (an example of a rotary member). The small dial includes a sun mark for displaying the state of the sun. The rotary disk covers the small dial and rotates in a 24-hour period. The rotary disk includes the sun state indicator that changes the visibility of the sun mark in accordance with the rotational position of the rotary disk. One of the small dial and the rotary member includes a plurality of numbers (an example of indexes) for indicating time. The other of the small dial and the rotary member includes a time indicator that indicates a number in accordance with the rotational position of the rotary disk. The time indicator and the sun state indicator are disposed relative to each other in a positional relationship such that the visibility of the sun mark by the sun state indicator corresponds to the state of the sun corresponding to the number indicated by the time indicator.
SOLAR PANEL, DISPLAY DEVICE, AND TIMEPIECE
A solar panel includes a plurality of solar cells. Each of the solar cells includes a plurality of power generation regions, and connection regions that connect the plurality of power generation regions and have a lower power generation capacity than the plurality of power generation regions. A plurality of power generation functional units are formed in which the connection regions are disposed adjacent to each other.
TIMEPIECE WITH A DOUBLE-SIDED DISPLAY
A timepiece with a double-sided display, including a structure including, on a first side, a first display member, and, on a second side, a second display member coaxial to the first display member and integral therewith with a first common arbor, the centres of mass of the first display member and the second display member are, in projection on a plane perpendicular to their common axis, aligned with the projection of the latter or coincident therewith, the first display member and/or the second display member is arranged to display a visual animation, and is movable above a back, and, either above a mask partially and incompletely covering the back, leaving a visible area contiguous with a hidden area wherein the back is invisible to the user, or between the back and the mask, moving above the visible area or the hidden area depending on its angular position with respect to the common axis.
DIAL MADE OF NON-CONDUCTIVE MATERIAL WITH FEET
The invention concerns a dial intended to be mounted in a watch case, the dial comprising a plate made of a fragile material, said plate defining a horizontal plane and comprising at least one housing defining a point of attachment for at least one foot formed of a body and a head arranged to rest inside said at least one housing, characterized in that the foot includes a circular slot arranged to receive a ring-like element made of a shape memory alloy able to move from a retracted position to an open position in which the foot is mechanically held in said housing.
DIAL FOR A TIMEPIECE
A dial plate (1) for a timepiece is designed to be mounted on a connection ring (2), and has a first, lower surface (12) designed to be oriented towards the interior of a timepiece, an opposite second, upper surface (13) designed to be on view, and a third surface (11) connecting the first and second surfaces, forming a peripheral contour of the dial plate. The third, peripheral contour surface (11) includes a section which passes via a plane perpendicular to the second surface (13), this section having a first part (11a) extending from the first, lower surface (12) to the second, upper surface (13) of the dial plate (1), in a direction which is non-perpendicular to the first, lower surface (12).
Mechanism for a watch movement
Mechanism for a watch movement (1) comprising a cam (5), a rack (3) driven by the cam (5), a retrograde mobile (20) driven by said rack (3) and bearing a retrograde indicator (2) for displaying a first item of time information, the rack (3) and the retrograde mobile (20) being arranged in such a way as to rotate in the same direction. A jumping hour display ring is synchronized with the returns of the retrograde display.
Timepiece provided with a dial and associated fastening method
A timepiece including a case that houses a main plate of a movement surmounted by a dial, and a support including fastening studs arranged on an upper face of the main plate for mounting the dial. The dial and the support include an angular locking mechanism for locking an angular position of the dial on the support, and the dial is assembled to the main plate by at least one flexible fastening element integral with the dial and arranged in the plane of the dial.
DIAL FOR TIMEPIECES
A dial for a timepiece, preferably a watch, the dial being provided with a relief portion which is made as an assembly of pieces on different levels, juxtaposed on a base, such that the relief portion is formed by the upper surfaces of the pieces. A method for manufacturing the dial with several separate pieces, the upper surfaces of the pieces being subjected to a polishing step and/or possibly an enamelling step. The pieces are then cut along a defined contour and then assembled edge-to-edge on a base, so as to create the relief portion.
