Device for hanging objects
A device for hanging an object on a wall includes a crossbar, a knuckle, an arm, and an end cap. The crossbar includes a track extending between two opposing ends of the crossbar. The knuckle is slidably coupled to the crossbar such that the knuckle is slidable in a first direction. The knuckle includes a projection that has a pair of parallel sides. The arm has a marking pin that projects generally perpendicular from a forward surface of the arm. The arm is coupled to the crossbar via the knuckle such that the arm is slidable along the pair of parallel sides of the projection in a second direction. The end cap is coupled to one of the two opposing ends of the crossbar. The end cap includes an L bracket that provides an engagement surface for engaging a corner of a second object previously hung on the wall.
Wall anchors and assemblies for heavyweight objects
Wall anchors and assemblies of the present disclosure include a plate, one more prongs, and a load bearing structure. The prongs are typically integral with a side edge of the plate and are typically curved in an upward towards the top edge of the plate.
Apparatus and methods for hanging objects on a vertical surface
A hanger for hanging an object on a vertical surface includes a plate with a front face and a back face. The back face is to abut a vertical surface onto which the object is to be hung. The hanger includes a first hook and a second hook protruding outward from the front face and an integrated bubble level fixably coupled to the front face and calibrated to indicate a horizontal orientation of the first hook relative to the second hook. A plurality of wall contacts protrudes outward from the front face. Each wall contact includes an opening through which an attachment mechanism traverses to attach the plate to the vertical surface. The hanger does not require the object to have a specifically shaped counterpart in order to interface with the hanger. The hanger removes the need for elaborate and/or time-consuming measuring, thus saving the user time and frustration.
Wall hanging system
Various example embodiments disclosed herein include systems and methods for a wall hanging system. Example embodiments include: a wall mount formed with a longitudinally elongated body having upper and lower ends and a wall-facing surface, the upper end being formed with a longitudinal rail for engaging a channel in a frame member, the wall mount including an attachment mechanism to attach the wall mount to a wall surface, the wall mount further including an embedded leveling indicator to enable level attachment of the wall mount to the wall surface; and a frame including at least one frame member, each frame member being formed with a first longitudinal channel for engaging the rail of the upper end of the wall mount, each frame member being formed with a second longitudinal channel for engaging an edge of a wall hanging item inserted into the frame.
Fastener tools and techniques
Provided is, among other things, an apparatus for facilitating the hanging of an object on a wall or other surface. This apparatus includes: a main body section having a first surface; an upper section connected to the main body section and having a protruding portion that protrudes away from the first surface; a lower section connected to the main body section and having an opening for accepting and holding a hanging/attachment element; and a securing mechanism. At least one of the upper section or the lower section is a slidable section that is slidably attached to the main body section and thereby capable of moving vertically up and down the main body section, but can be temporarily fixed at an arbitrary position along the main body section using the securing mechanism.
FASTENER TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES
Provided is, among other things, an apparatus for facilitating the hanging of an object on a wall or other surface. The apparatus includes: a main body section having a front surface and an elongated first opening; an upper section connected to the main body section and having a protruding portion that protrudes away from the front surface; a lower section connected to the main body section and having a second opening for accepting, as well as a structure for holding, a hanging/attachment element; and a securing mechanism. The upper section is slidably attached to the main body section via the elongated first opening and thereby capable of moving vertically up and down said main body section, but can be temporarily fixed at a desired position along the main body section by using the securing mechanism.
Picture hanging hook positioning and mounting device
A picture hanging hook positioning and mounting device (1) for positioning, leveling, and holding picture hanging hooks while securing the picture hanging hooks to a wall with nails.
SPACE DETERMINING DEVICE AND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CAPTURING DIMENSIONS AND MOUNTING OBJECTS
The present disclosure relates to a space and dimension determining device, which is useful for placement, mounting, hanging and leveling a picture, shelving, or any other object onto a receiving surface. The present device is capable of locking into position capturing the dimensions and allowing for measureless transfer of dimensions from one place to another. The present disclosure further relates to a device incorporating a laser, either as part of, or a separate, attachable feature to, the present device, the laser being useful for assisting in determining center points, and a plurality of dimensions and readings equal distance from the center point. The present disclosure also relates to a system and method of transferring dimensions from a space determining device to an electronic communication device, which is used to create a template for placement of an item or items within a target space.
Adjustable picture frame tool
An adjustable picture frame tool comprising a longitudinal device for housing slidable members at each end wherein the slidable members have the ability to expand and contract in length at both ends of the longitudinal device is disclosed. The longitudinal device and end slidable members each defines a plurality of center spaced holes along their longitudinal axis, respectively. In one preferred embodiment the holes are spaced a mm apart from each other. A clickable circular locking button is located in the middle of the longitudinal device that allows the slidable members to be locked in place to the longitudinal device. In use, a simple click or push of the center button locks the slidable members relative to the longitudinal device wherein a second click of the button and the slidable members can move either outwards or inwards.
Device and method for positioning hanging objects
A system and method for positioning hanging objects includes a transfer sheet capable of being marked (e.g. paper) is releasably attached to a positioning member having a ledge that can be aligned with a top surface of an object being hung (e.g. picture); the transfer sheet is then marked (creating a transfer mark) at the location of the object's mounting portion (e.g. hook); the ledge is then positioned as desired (e.g. against a wall), and aligned using a built in level; a mark is made on the wall using the transfer mark (e.g. using a pencil through the transfer mark); a fastener (e.g. nail) is then fixed to the wall at the location of the mark; the object is then hung. Thus, the tedious and often erroneous process of calculating where the hole should be using measuring devices is eliminated.
