Wall anchor assemblies

An anchor assembly for hanging an object on a wall includes a first anchor component and a second anchor component. The first anchor component includes a base having front, back, top, bottom, left and right sides, and at least one wall penetrating retainer extending from the base and having a wall penetrating extent that protrudes rearwardly of the base and has a downwardly curved configuration. The second anchor component includes a base having front, back, top, bottom, left and right sides, at least one wall penetrating retainer extending from the base of the second anchor component and having a wall penetrating extent that protrudes rearwardly of the base of the second anchor component and has a curved configuration. The second anchor component is pivotably associated with the first anchor component for movement between an anchoring orientation and a non-anchoring orientation.

Frame hanging level

A frame hanging level having a least one (1) horizontal and one (1) vertical spirit level incorporates positioning assemblies to aid in the marking of a vertical surface in the mounting of a wall decoration. The positionable assemblies depend within an open space and are capable of being manipulated to and secured in a desired position relative to the level.

System and method for hanging a frame or object on a wall without taking measurements

A system for hanging an object (e.g., picture frame) at a desired location on a wall without measurements includes planar marking strips, each with an elongate body attached to a proximal head. The marking strips are removably attached to a mounting surface of the object so that the proximal head protrudes from an edge of the object and the elongate body aligns with a mounting hook, recess or opening on the mounting surface of the object. Once the desired mounting location of the object on the wall surface is determined, the user presses the proximal head of the marking strip against the wall surface and withdraws the object relative to the marking strip, leaving the marking strips attached to the wall surface. The distal end of the elongate body indicates the location for insertion of a fastener to mount the object at the desired mounting location.

Method and apparatus for hanging a picture

Method and apparatus to assist in hanging a picture frame on a wall. The apparatus comprises a marking member which is configured to pass through an aperture of a spring-loaded outer head of an enclosure when the outer head is pressed into the enclosure. The housing has an attachment member which is removably attachable thereto having an adhesive pad for attachment onto the area where the hook of the picture frame is disposed. After the attachment member is attached to the picture frame, the enclosure is attached to the attachment member.

Picture Hanging Device

Devices, systems and methods for hanging one or more objects, such as frames, on a surface. A marking device for marking a surface for hanging one or more objects. The marking device can have a main body portion having first and second arms pivotably attached thereto. The first and second arms, as well as the main body, can each have a marker to mark a target surface. The marking device can optionally have a level indicator and the first and second arms can have markers which can slide along a ruled measure for convenient positioning of marks on the target surface. Optionally, the markers can have biased, retractable, or sheathed marker pins.

ACOUSTIC PANEL WALL MOUNTING

An acoustic panel wall mounting system including a rigid fastening plate and a panel anchor. The rigid fastening plate carries a field of first touch fastening features and defines an aperture for receiving a mechanical fastener to secure the fastening plate against a wall with the field of first touch fastening features exposed. The panel anchor has a helix extending from a rigid surface flange that carries a field of second touch fastening features on a surface opposite the helix. The anchor defines a tool receptacle used for twisting the helix into a panel. The field of first touch fastening features is engageable with the field of second touch fastening features to form a connection when brought into engagement as the panel is placed against the wall to contact the fastening plate with the panel anchor.

Template kit for drilling holes and mounting objects

A template kit for assisting with the drilling of holes and the mounting of objects to a planar surface. The template kit includes an impactor, a plurality of punch heads removably securable to the impactor, and a sheet of material having a first side and a second side. The first side includes a first adhesive that can releasably secure the object to be mounted. The second side includes a second adhesive that can secure the device to a wall or other planar surface. The second adhesive has increased adhesive strength relative to the first adhesive. Each punch head includes an inner and outer edge that can cut a disc member from the sheet of material, wherein the impactor drives the punch head through the sheet of material. In use, the disc members are secured to a wall and serve as a guide for drilling a hole to hang the object.
