A control mechanism for control of a plurality of timepiece displays, including a group with one first display and one second display which are separate, driven, according to a reference period, by a timepiece movement, and including, for each group of displays, a train provided to drive, according to a control period, a control moving body, this mechanism including, for each group, a first control element, for control of the first display, and a second control element, for control of the second display, at different moments within the control period, and control device for disengaging the first and the second control elements, including a control lever, which is provided to pivot with a to-and-from motion, according to a limited angular course, and which supports the first control element and the second control element.
ACOUSTIC TIMEPIECE DISPLAY MECHANISM, PARTICULARLY A CHRONOGRAPH REPEATER
A timepiece display mechanism includes a rotating display member for displaying a magnitude other than the current time of day, or a position in a cycle. The rotating display member is integral in rotation with a snail cooperating with the beak of a striking rack included in a striking mechanism integrated in or juxtaposed with this display mechanism, to strike a numerical value characteristic of this magnitude, or respectively of this position. The display mechanism is more particularly a chronograph mechanism including a seconds snail integral with a main chronograph wheel, for counting the seconds and cooperating with a seconds rack, and a minute snail integral with a minute counter wheel for counting the minutes and cooperating with a minute rack, in order, after timing a duration, to strike the minutes and seconds of the timed duration.
Moonphase display mechanism
A display mechanism for n moonphases for a timepiece, where n?3, includes a first wheel and pinion having a night-time background and a portion of lunar background and a second wheel and pinion superposed on the first, the second having a night-time background and moonphase profiles, with the first and second pivoting about one axis. The first wheel and pinion is driven at a constant velocity, and that the second can be driven in rotation at the same velocity and direction as the first during a moonphase display period during which a portion of lunar background of the first and a moonphase profile of the second corresponding to the moonphase to be displayed are superposed, revealing the moonphase. The second wheel and pinion is offset from the first by a repositioning angle during a transitional period between the current and following display periods, revealing the following moonphase.
Moon-phase display device
Device for displaying phases of the moon with a fist display member (80) bearing a plurality of first images (81-86) at least partially representing the moon, a display zone, driving means (22, 23, 25, 40, 41, 43, 63, 71, 72, 61, 62) arranged to displace, by successive jumps, the first display member (80) relative to the display zone, to display a succession of representations of the moon. An original feature of the invention is that the periods of display of the first images are not all equal.
Liquid crystal display device with decorative pattern directly thereon
A liquid crystal display device, the display device including: two facing transparent substrates designated respectively front substrate and rear substrate, the front substrate being same disposed on the observer side, the front and rear substrates being provided on the inner faces thereof with transparent structured electrodes whereof the superposition defines shape pixels switchable between two optical states, the electrodes being connected to a voltage source via a control circuit, forming a cell closed by a sealing frame for receiving in the spaced delimited by the substrates and the sealing frame a liquid crystal composition; and a decorative pattern in direct contact with the front substrate or the rear substrate.
TIMEPIECE MECHANISM FOR DISPLAYING THE LUNAR DAY AND MOON PHASE, WITH A CORRECTION SYSTEM USING A DOUBLE KINEMATIC CHAIN
Timepiece mechanism for displaying the lunar day and the moon phase. The moon is represented by a sphere mounted on a meridian wheel and includes a first rotating element meshed with a drive mechanism, a second rotating element friction mounted on the first rotating element, a moon wheel set coupling the first rotating element to the meridian wheel, a transmission wheel with a jumper spring, a system for correcting the lunar day display via a first correction wheel bypassing the transmission wheel and including the meridian wheel, a system for correcting the lunar day display via a second correction wheel including the transmission wheel.
