ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING ROTATABLE ANNULAR MEMBER
Various example embodiments of the present disclosure provide an electronic device including: a housing including a substantially circular opening and a first surface facing in a first direction; a wearing structure configured to enable the electronic device to be removably worn on a part of a human body and connected to the housing; a display disposed in the opening; an annulus installed on the first surface and configured to be rotatable along a periphery of the opining, the annulus including a second surface facing a second direction opposite the first direction; at least one spacer interposed between a part of the first surface and the second surface of the annulus; and a circuit configured to detect a rotation of the annular member and to change the display at least in part based on the rotation.
Annular rotating bezel system comprising a spring ring provided with at least two lugs
An annular rotating bezel system includes a rotating bezel, a toothed ring having a toothing provided with a plurality of teeth regularly distributed over an edge of the toothed ring, and a spring ring which extends in a plane in which it is capable of deforming elastically along a radius. The spring ring cooperates elastically with the toothed ring. The spring ring includes at least two lugs, each lug being configured to be elastically and radially engaged with the toothing of the toothed ring in at least one position of the bezel. At least two lugs are offset from each other by an offset angle, the or each offset angle between two successive lugs having a value different from an integer sub-multiple of 360 degrees, such that, in each position of the bezel, only one lug is elastically and radially engaged with the toothing of the toothed ring.
Wearable electronic device
A wearable electronic device includes an external housing including a first surface, a second surface toward a direction opposite to the first surface, and a first opening formed through the first surface; a display disposed in the opening; a plate covering the display, forming at least a portion of the first surface, and having a substantially circular shape; a first structure forming a portion of the external housing or extending from the external housing; a bezel surrounding an outer circumferential surface of the plate, mounted on the external housing to be rotatable, and including a surface toward a portion of a surface of the first structure; and a second structure disposed between the portion of the surface of the first structure and the surface of the bezel and attached to the first structure. The second structure has a friction coefficient smaller than a friction coefficient of the first structure.
WATCH TYPE TERMINAL
A watch type terminal includes: a body formed to be fixed to a user's wrist; a display unit mounted to the body, and configured to display current time information; a memory configured to store therein a plurality of graphic images sorted from one another according to a plurality of contents for indicating the time information; and a controller configured to control the display unit to output screen information indicating the time information, the screen information including at least one graphic image selected from the plurality of graphic images based on a control command.
Rotating GMT Watch Bezel With Minute Markers
A watch bezel provides a GMT function and a count-up time-tracking function. The watch bezel includes a first set of indicia to indicate 24 hours associated with the GMT function of the watch and a second set of indicia to indicate 60 minutes in an hour. When mounted or attached to the watch casing or body, the bezel is rotatable in the clockwise direction and in the counter-clockwise direction. The watch bezel enables a user to read or set the time associated with a secondary time zone without adjusting any hands on the watch. The second set of indicia comprises a plurality of incremental minute markers and allows a user to track elapsed time. The capability of tracking elapsed time allows the watch to be used in activities that require tracking of elapsed time such as diving or other sporting events.
TIMEPIECE COMPRISING A ROTATING BEZEL
A timepiece including a rotating bezel, mounted on a middle with N stable angular positions, and a magnetic device (20) composed of a first set of Z1 magnets (22) carried by the rotating bezel and of a second set of Z2 magnets (24) carried by the middle. The first and second sets of magnets are each arranged circularly in such a way as to have between them a magnetic interaction engendering on the rotating bezel a resisting magnetic torque, over at least a part of an angular pitch, when this rotating bezel is driven in rotation from any one of the N stable angular positions. The numbers Z1 and Z2 are greater than one and less than N. The Z1 and Z2 magnets are distributed angularly so the resisting magnetic torque has a variation according to the stable angular position of the rotating bezel.
SPRING FOR A NOTCHING SYSTEM AND TIMEPIECE NOTCHING SYSTEM
A spring (1) for a notching system, the spring including at least two elastic arms (11, 12), and a first toothset javomg first notching teeth (11a, 12a) disposed on each of the arms, the spring being designed such that, in a position in which one of the arms of the spring is not loaded, the arm is convex as seen from the top of the first notching tooth of this arm.
SPRING FOR A NOTCHING SYSTEM AND TIMEPIECE NOTCHING SYSTEM
A notching system (100) including a spring (1) having a first including n first teeth (11a, 12a) a first member (2) having a second toothset including m second teeth (22a, 22b), and a second member (3) mounted so as to be movable, in particular mounted so as to be rotatable, with respect to the first member (2), the first and second toothsets being arranged such that, through their interactions, they define p notches or indexed positions, the spring (1) including at least two elastic arms (11, 12), and at least one first pivot connection element (1b) between said two elastic arms (11, 12), the second member including at least one second pivot connection element (3b) cooperating with the at least one first pivot connection element (1b) in order to create at least one pivot connection between the spring (1) and the second member (3).
ITEM MADE FROM CERMET AND/OR CERAMIC
An item made from cermet and/or ceramic, and in particular a bezel (1) of a timepiece, produced by a method for injecting at least two materials (2, 3) of distinct compositions, the item including a part (4) where the two materials (2, 3) are superimposed and are interleaved one in the other.
WATCH CASE COMPRISING A NEAR-FIELD COMMUNICATION DEVICE
A watch case including a middle and a hollow bezel provided with a near-field communication device including at least one microcircuit connected to an antenna, the bezel being removably mounted on the middle and formed by an assembly of two lining elements that could define a housing within which the near-field communication device is arranged, the first and second lining elements of the bezel being assembled together with a reversible fastening device.
