A parcel storage box (10) comprises a base (12), a side wall (14) and a roof (16) joined to form a box (18) and a parapet (28) provided on an upper surface of the roof (16), the parapet (28) enclosing a volume for planting plants. An opening (20) is provided in the side wall (14) and a door (22) is hinged to the side wall (14) to close the opening (20). A lock (24) is provided for locking the door (22). A barrier (42) is provided on the base (12), the barrier (42) having a front surface (44) for contacting a rear surface of the door (22) and an upper surface (46), the upper surface (46) being sloped relative to the base (12), the upper surface (46) being closer to the base (12) at a front edge of the barrier (42).

The planter may be adapted for receiving soil, planting substrate and/or plants. The self-contained planter may have a base region adapted to conform to the staggered pattern of one or more stepped surfaces.

The brackets have a lower vertical flange that engages with an upper flange of a second bracket in stacked form. The tray has a fluid trap and at least one flow channel extending from the fluid trap. The fluid trap has a connection member that can connect the tray to an external fluid source via tubing. The fluid trap can also have an insertable debris trap.

Each rail stub has a pair of slide guides engaged with corresponding slide guides on opposing internal walls of the respective hollow cavity, and also has upper and lower tongues riding in top and bottom slots of the rail hub between in-turned flanges thereof. To lock each leg pair at user-selected width, a lock slot in each rail stub is penetrated by a lock fastener that engages opposing sidewalls of the rail hub on opposite sides of the rail stub, so that tightening of the fastener clamps the rail stub firmly between the sidewalls of the rail hub.
