The upper section can be a bent strip that forms a receptacle to receive the portion of the container, and the lower section can include a body in the form of a second bent strip, and a fixed connection post extending from an upper surface of the body to interface with an opening in the connection interface of the upper section to removably couple the upper section to the lower section via the at least one fastener. The platform section can include a first step and a second step each extending from the connection interface to respective ones of the retaining arms.
Compression pad window hanging devices and systems
Provided herein are compression pad window hanging devices and systems. Compression pad window hanging devices include a compression pad attached to an item, with the compression pad designed to be compressed between the lower sash of a closed window and a window sill to thereby secure the item in place on an exterior or interior of the window. Such window hanging devices can include one or more adjustable support members extending from a bottom of the item to support the item on the exterior or interior window sill ledge and compensate for a downward slope of the exterior or interior window sill ledge. Bird feeders, flags, decorations and storage systems are examples items to be secured to a window sill using a compression pad window hanging device and system as disclosed herein.
Support Bracket for Fence Post or Rail
A bracket for releasable attachment to a fence comprises a clamp portion, for engaging a fence component, and a support arm portion for supporting one or more types of objects. The objects may comprise hanging plants, bird feeders, lamps or lighting, etc. In one aspect, the clamp portion is adapted to engage a fence post. In another aspect, the clamp portion is adapted to engage a fence rail or a rail cap.
Accessory flip lock for vertical pole
A device for securing accessories such as bins, hooks, shelves, mirrors, trays, and baskets to a vertical support pole without tools and without a separate wedge or collar, including two fully separable pieces that interlock to surround the support pole and a lever that tightens to the pole without the use of a separate sleeve or wedge and without using tools.
MULTI-PURPOSE BEARING ASSEMBLY
The utility model belongs to the technical field of articles for daily use, and particularly to a multi-purpose bearing assembly. The bearing assembly includes a bearing body. The bearing body includes a bottom portion, a side wall and a bottom reinforcement arranged on the bottom portion. The bottom reinforcement includes a bearing stage formed by protruding upward or being recessed downward relative to the bottom portion. The bearing assembly of the utility model improves the overall bonding strength of the bottom portion by providing a reinforcement on the bottom portion, and can cooperate with the bearing stage, the fixing post, the hook and the legs to be combined into different usage forms.
TOP ITEM HOLDER
The present invention provides a top item holder for placing on top of a screen. The top item holder includes an anti-tilt means, at least one slider, a slide rail and at least one holder unit. The anti-tilt means is for preventing the top item holder from being relatively tilting with respect to the screen. The slide rail is disposed at a top of the anti-tilt means. The slider is slidably disposed on the slide rail and can slide in a sliding direction within a sliding travel. The holder unit is disposed on the slider. Thereby, top space of the screen can be effectively utilized, and relocation of the holder unit becomes more convenient.
Growing system
Growing systems including double-walled growing devices, and methods of making and using the same are provided. Growing devices include two sheets of material, a sprouting layer and a rooting layer, strategically bonded together to form containers for growing plants. Each container includes openings in the layers to allow the plants to grow out of their containers and to allow roots to access water through the rooting layer. The two layers can be formed into a cylinder where the center of the cylinder provides a channel for watering such that the roots grow into that channel. Deployed as a flat sheet of containers, the device can include a third layer to provide a water channel between the rooting layer and the third layer. Growing systems include the device and can also include a system to provide water thereto, and an enclosure around the device for providing an overpressure.
EFFECTIVE AND BENEFICIAL VESSELS AND METHOD FOR GROWING PLANTS TO MANIPULATE ROOT GROWTH
The invention provides flexible or rigid vessels in different configurations with openings at their ends and a hollow body between them for growing plants. The hollow body is filled with a growing medium to manipulate the routing of the plants roots. Such vessels allow growth of plants in a limited space without compromising the ability of the plants to grow roots of natural length; enabling resource savings by reducing amounts of the growing medium and nutrients and their dispersion to the surrounding, evaporation and water infiltration. These advantages result in a reduction of weight of the growing medium for growing roots. These vessels also protect the plant roots from pests and weeds and allow the plants to grow even in unsuitable terrain, such as rocky, salty or contaminated soil. Also, the vessels can be used to grow plants for ornamental purposes in a beautiful and aesthetic way.
MODULAR FLOWER BED SYSTEMS
A flower bed system includes an elongated frame having a first side bar and second side bar in a longitudinal direction thereof, a first and a second riser removably attached to the first and second side bar, respectively, the first riser having a first notch away from the first side bar by a predetermined distance and the second riser having a second notch away from the second side bar by approximately the same predetermined distance, and a flowerpot holder having a first and second pin rigidly protruding from opposite sides thereof, respectively, the first and the second pin being substantially aligned in an axial line transverse a center of the flowerpot holder, wherein the first and second pin removably rest in the first and second notch, respectively, so that the flowerpot holder can rotate freely around the axial line.
CANTILEVERED PLANTER SHELF SYSTEMS
A cantilevered planter shelf for installation on a floor ledge adjacent to a railing of a balcony, porch, deck or stoop is disclosed. The planter shelf includes a horizontal base, a vertical back spine extending upward from a rear portion of the base, a top lip extending forward from an upper portion of the back spine, and a stake inserted through the top lip. The base has a rear support portion adjacent to the back spine that rests on the floor ledge when the planter shelf is installed, and a front cantilevered portion that extends horizontally beyond an edge of the floor ledge. The back spine has a front surface that contacts an interior surface of the railing when the planter shelf is installed. A method of installing a cantilevered planter shelf on a floor ledge adjacent to a railing is also disclosed. The method includes sliding the base of the planter shelf under the railing above the floor ledge, positioning the top lip between adjacent balusters of the railing, and contacting a front surface of a base spine of the planter shelf against an interior surface of the railing to thereby position the planter shelf in a free-standing position. A supported portion of the base rests on the floor ledge, and an extended cantilevered portion of the base extends beyond the edge of the floor ledge.
