Safety valve for watches
10775746 · 2020-09-15 · ·

An automatic safety valve for timepieces includes a valve head housed inside a tube. The valve head includes a lip seal disposed around a core and arranged so that a lip is squeezed against a wall of an outlet channel to disengage from the area to allow pressure compensation between the interior and exterior of a case during excess pressure inside the case, and pressed against the area to seal the interior of the case during excess pressure outside the case. The safety valve further includes an additional sealing element inside the outlet channel. The additional sealing element includes a membrane that is permeable to gases and to establish fluid communication from the interior of the case towards the exterior, when the internal pressure exceeds a predetermined value, and impermeable to liquids flowing from outside the case towards the interior of the case.

Timepiece containing a locking device for a pusher
10725429 · 2020-07-28 · ·

A timepiece is equipped with a case that includes a case middle, a pusher, and a locking device for this pusher. The pusher is arranged movably in a translational manner in an actuation axis. The locking device contains a blocker that is movable in a translational manner along the actuation axis and with the ability to be displaced between a locking position and an unlocking position, in which positions the pusher is respectively to the locking and unlocking positions blocked and free in translation. The locking device contains in addition a control rotatably mounted in a general plane of the case between a first position and a second position corresponding respectively to the locking and unlocking positions for the blocker, this control containing structure for driving the blocker between its locking and unlocking positions.

TIMEPIECE INCLUDING A DEVICE FOR LOCKING A VALVE OR A WINDING BUTTON

A timepiece includes a locking device capable of blocking the translation of a valve or of a control member in the position the closest to the central axis of the case. The locking device includes a blocking element capable of undergoing translational displacement along a radial axis between a locking position and an unlocking position, where the member is respectively blocked or free to move in translation, a part mounted such that it can move in rotation about the central axis of the case and intended to be set in rotation by a user, drive device linking the angular displacement of the part mounted such that it can move in rotation to the translational displacement of the blocking element between the locking and unlocking positions.

Provided is a timepiece case that does not require a seal ring, such as an O ring, that is made of a resin material. The timepiece case includes a case body configured from metallic glass; and a button part that is formed integrally with the case body and is flexible.

Switch device and timepiece

A switch device including a case provided with a through hole, an operation member including a shaft section which is inserted into the through hole of the case and a head section which is provided on an outer end portion of the shaft section and arranged outside the case, an elastic body which is arranged between outer surface of the case and inner surface of the head section of the operation member opposing the outer surface of the case, and forces the head section outward from the case by an elastic force of a material of the elastic body, and a slipping section which provides slipperiness in a rotational direction to the elastic body and the head section.

PUSH BUTTON AND TIMEPIECE

A push button capable of improving shock resistance and a timepiece equipped therewith are provided. This push button includes an operation member having a shaft section inserted into a through hole of a case and a head section provided on the outer end of the shaft section, and an elastic member which presses the head section toward the outside of the case or is elastically deformed, and this elastic member includes a buffer section that buffers a pressure externally applied to the head section which is greater than a predetermined pressure. Accordingly, when a pressure greater than the predetermined pressure is applied to the head section, the head section comes in contact with the buffer section while elastically deforming the elastic member so as to buffer the pressure. By this structure, shock resistance is improved.

CROWN ASSEMBLY FOR AN ELECTRONIC WATCH

An electronic watch may include a housing defining a side wall having a through-hole and a crown assembly including an actuation member. The actuation member may include a crown shaft extending through the through-hole and having an exterior portion defining an input surface and a crown ring coupled to the exterior portion of the crown shaft and electrically isolated from the crown shaft. The crown assembly may further include an optical encoder component attached to the actuation member and defining a group of optical features. The electronic watch may further include an optical detector configured to detect rotation of the crown assembly by detecting motion of the group of optical features and an electrocardiograph sensor comprising a sensing component. The sensing component may be conductively coupled to the actuation member via a conductive path at least partially defined by the crown shaft.
