Watch strap
A watch strap includes a substantially inflexible main portion, a flexible auxiliary portion coupled to the substantially inflexible main portion, and a tightener coupled to the flexible auxiliary portion. When in use, the tightener is configured to maintain a selected tightness, and the flexible auxiliary portion is configured to be elastic.
Attachment systems for electronic devices
Attachment systems for attaching a wearable electronic device to a user including a sizing band and a retaining band are disclosed. The sizing band includes at least one sizing eyelet and a band-insertable end. The retaining band includes at least a post for insertion into the sizing eyelet of the sizing band and a concealment aperture configured to receive the band-insertable end of the sizing band. On a bottom surface of the retaining band can be a recessed guide bed configured to guide the band-insertable end along the bottom surface of the retaining band. A wearable electronic device can couple to both the sizing band and the retaining band by accepting an end portion of each band into receiving channels extending into opposite sidewalls of the housing.
Electronic Apparatus and Wearable Apparatus
The present disclosure provides an electronic apparatus and a wearable apparatus. The electronic apparatus may include a housing assembly and an electronic component. The housing assembly is configured to connect with a connector, and includes a housing and an engaging member. The housing defines a mounting groove. The engaging member is arranged in the mounting groove and capable of moving relative to the housing to engage with the connector or disengage the connector. The electronic component is disposed in the housing. The housing defines a sink. The housing assembly further includes a baffle mounted in the sink, and the baffle defines a through hole being configured to let the connector pass therethrough.
DETACHABLE WEARING MEMBER AND WEARABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING SAME
A wearing member of a wearable electronic device may have a housing, the wearing member may have a holder body fixed to the housing of the wearable electronic device, the holder body defining a guide recess, a holder member including a fixing portion that protrudes at least partially from a surface of the holder body, a portion of the holder member being engaged in a recess of a side surface of the housing of the wearable electronic device such that the holder member is secured to the holder body, and a rotation member that is pivotably coupled to the holder body, the rotation member including a first portion that includes a guide protrusion that engages the guide recess and a second portion that is couplable to a wearable strap.
Device for fixing a wristband to a watch case
A strand of a wristband (10) comprising an end intended for fixing removably to a watch case, wherein said strand comprises a projection (16) or a groove arranged at said end, said projection (16) or groove being intended to become lodged within a groove or projection of a watch case, and wherein said strand comprises at least one vertical opening (17) arranged in the thickness of said projection (16) or of a wall forming said groove and wherein said strand comprises an elastic element (30), so as to be able to accept a pin (20) through the elastic element (30) and through at least part of the length of said at least one vertical opening.
Magnetically orbiting user-worn device
A user-worn device includes a band portion and a display portion. The band portion comprises a wire that is configured to create a first magnetic field that follows the curvature of the band portion. The display portion comprises a first electromagnet that is configured to produce a second magnetic field. The display portion orbits around the band portion in a first orbital direction when the first and second magnetic fields interact.
Timepiece with attached horns
A watch case (2) for wristwatches including: a middle part (4) including a side wall (10) having two sides (12A, 12B); two separate side members (6A, 6B) arranged on either side of the middle part (4), each side member (6A, 6B) extending beyond the space occupied by the middle part (4) in the longitudinal direction of the watch band and having a median portion of complementary shape to the corresponding side (12A, 12B) of the middle part (4), each side member (6A, 6B) being slidably and removably attached to the middle part (4); a bezel (8) secured to the middle part (4) on an upper face of the middle part (4); a back cover (20) fixed on a lower face of the middle part (4); characterized in that each side member (6A, 6B) is blocked in translation in the direction of sliding on the middle part (4) by the bezel (8).
Band and Watch
A band includes first and second pin member including first and second pin, an operation member that moves between first and second positions, a housing including a coupling part and an engaging part, and a guide part that guides and moves the first and second pin members between an engagement position and a release position. The first and second pin members move to the engagement position when the operation member is moved to the first position, whereas move to the release position when the operation member is moved to the second position. The engagement/release position is a position where each pin is located outside/outside the side surface of the housing in the width direction, and the engagement/release position is closer to the coupling/engaging part than the release/engagement position in the longitudinal direction.
Identification of bands for wearable electronic devices
A wearable device can include an electronic device and a band for securing the electronic device to the user. The electronic device can detect an identification of the band, which can serve as an input to initiate actions performed by the electronic device. For example, a type, model, color, size, or other characteristic of a band can be determined and used to select a corresponding action performed by the electronic device. Identification of the band can be performed by components of the electronic device that also serve other purposes. Existing sensors, communication elements, and/or detectors can be used to detect and identity a band provided to the electronic device. The electronic device can respond to the identification of a particular band by performing particular functions, such as changing an aspect of a user interface or altering settings of the electronic device.
Electronic devices and systems
Systems may include a watch band, a watch body including at least one image sensor configured to capture a wide-angle image, a coupling mechanism configured to detachably couple the watch body to the watch band, and at least one biometric sensor on at least one of the watch band or the watch body.
