Strap watch with extended features
A strap watch with a first hand normally indicating the hours, a second hand normally indicating the minutes, where appropriate an additional hand, at least one accelerometer, and an electronic control unit which is configured so that it normally causes the time to be indicated by the hands, calculates at least one individual activity amount representative of a physical activity of the user based on information collected by the accelerometer, and displays the activity amount by means of at least one of the hands, whereby the user can very simply view one or more amount(s) relating to his or her physical activity on a compact and conventional analog watch interface.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MEASURING AND DISPLAYING DATA LINKED TO A PERSON'S PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The invention relates to a method for measuring and displaying data linked to a person's physical activity, comprising: measuring data linked to the person's physical activity using a mechanical sensor in a wrist watch worn by the person; displaying the measured data on the watch face; taking an image of the watch face using a camera in an electronic device; analysing the image in order to determine the data; processing the data so as to process the analysed data; and displaying the processed data on a screen of the electronic device.
Smartwatch device and method
A smartwatch device and method. The abstract of the disclosure is submitted herewith as required by 37 C.F.R. 1.72(b). As stated in 37 C.F.R. 1.72(b): A brief abstract of the technical disclosure in the specification must commence on a separate sheet, preferably following the claims, under the heading Abstract of the Disclosure. The purpose of the abstract is to enable the Patent and Trademark Office and the public generally to determine quickly from a cursory inspection the nature and gist of the technical disclosure. The abstract shall not be used for interpreting the scope of the claims. Therefore, any statements made relating to the abstract are not intended to limit the claims in any manner and should not be interpreted as limiting the claims in any manner.
SMARTWATCH ASSEMBLIES HAVING ELECTROCARDIOGRAM SENSORS, PHOTOPLETHYSMOGRAPHY SENSORS, AND BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORS AND RELATED METHODS
A smartwatch assembly including an outer frame portion and an insert portion removably insertable into the outer frame portion. The insert portion may include a casing, a controller disposed within the casing, an electrocardiogram sensor operably coupled to the controller, the electrocardiogram sensor having at least two electrodes configured to be placed in contact with a user's skin, a photoplethysmography sensor operably coupled to the controller and oriented to face the user's skin, and a display operably coupled to the controller and configured to show data related to measurements taken by the electrocardiogram sensor and the photoplethysmography sensor. The photoplethysmography sensor may detect trigger events in a heart function of the user, and, in response to the detection of a trigger event, the electrocardiogram sensor may initiate an electrocardiogram measurement of the user.
Tracking assembly
A tracking assembly includes an electronic device. A first tracking unit is provided and the first tracking unit is selectively worn on a first user. The first tracking device is in electrical communication with the electronic device. Moreover, the electronic device programs a predetermined trigger distance into the first tracking unit. A second tracking unit is provided and the second tracking unit is selectively worn on a second user. The second tracking unit is in electrical communication with the first tracking unit to determine a location of the second tracking unit with respect to the first tracking unit. In this way the second tracking unit facilitates the first user to track the second user. The first tracking unit generates an alert when the second tracking unit moves beyond the predetermined trigger distance with respect to the first tracking unit.
REVERSE BATTERY PROTECTION DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF
A wearable device includes: a touch screen; an acceleration sensor configured to generate an acceleration signal; an optical sensor using a light source and configured to generate a touch interrupt signal; and a control unit configured to detect a wearing state of the wearable device, the wearing state of the wearable device including a not-wearing state for the wearable device, a wrist wearing state, and a hand gripping state on the basis of the acceleration signal and the touch interrupt signal, and to execute a function corresponding to the wearing state of the wearable device.
ELECTRONIC WATCH CLASP SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Embodiments of a watch can include a watch having an analog watch face, a first watch band portion, a second watch band portion and an analog watch face. The watch can include a digital clasp having a digital display and a circuit board associated with a controller.
Smart watch extended system
A method and apparatus to provide an extended band is described. The method comprises pairing a watch and a host device. The method further comprises monitoring a user's status with a plurality of sensors on the host device and/or the watch, and using the extended band to do one or more of: provide alerts to the user, based on the sensor data, control the extended band from one of the devices, and share data with third parties using the extended band.
Electronic watch
An electronic watch having an altitude display mode of displaying an altitude, a compass display mode of displaying a direction, a barometric pressure display mode of displaying barometric pressure as display modes includes a dial face having an ALT area, a COM area, and a BAR area and a first pointer displaying the altitude display mode by pointing the ALT area, displaying the compass display mode by pointing the COM area, and displaying the barometric pressure display mode by pointing the BAR area. In the dial face, the ALT area, COM area, and BAR area are arranged in an order of the ALT area, COM area, and BAR area. In a turning direction of the first pointer, a distance between the ALT area and COM area and a distance between the COM area and BAR area are shorter than a distance between the ALT area and BAR area.
