Wearable terminal apparatus

A wearable terminal apparatus includes an enclosure, a dial provided in the enclosure and having on-dial markings, a first timepiece hand, a second timepiece hand, a third timepiece hand, a processing section that controls rotation of the first timepiece hand, the second timepiece hand, and the third timepiece hand, and a measured value acquisition section that acquires a measured value. The processing section controls placement of the timepiece hands among the on-dial markings in such a way that the first timepiece hand is placed in a position corresponding to a lower limit value of the measured value, the second timepiece hand is placed in a position corresponding to an upper limit value of the measured value, and the third timepiece hand is placed in a position corresponding to the measured value.

Annular fluidic system with compass function

An annular fluidic device includes a closed annular tube, wherein the tube includes at least one portion of transparent wall and contains a rigid torus bathed in a fluid filling the internal volume of the tube, in that the torus is arranged to be movable in the tube, and wherein at least one permanently polarised magnetic element integral with the torus allows it to undergo a moment of force causing it to be aligned in the direction of the external magnetic vector. A watch case can include this device.

MAGNETIC FIELD MEASURING APPARATUS, ELECTRONIC TIMEPIECE, METHOD OF SETTING CORRECTION OF MEASURED MAGNETIC FIELD AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM

A magnetic field measuring apparatus includes a first processor, a second processor, a motion sensor and a magnetic field sensor. The second processor has higher processing capability than the first processor. The first processor makes the second processor perform certain processing. When it is determined that the state of motion measured by the motion sensor is at a predetermined level or more, the second processor performs a magnetic field correction setting operation as one of the certain processing. The magnetic field correction setting operation involves retrieving measurement values of magnetic field from the magnetic field sensor which are measured at different postures according to a change of the state of motion, and determining an offset correction value for the geomagnetic field based on the measurement values.
