COOLING STRUCTURE OR ASSEMBLY USING PHASE CHANGE MATERIAL
Cooling blankets for humans and animals including a plurality of chambers containing phase change material. The panels include upper and lower layers of weldable material with a plurality of linear welds connecting them and forming PCM chambers which extend across the panels in a generally linear, side-by-side arrangement. The panels further include fastener elements to connect adjacent panels and form a larger blanket. The shape and configuration of the panels and the PCM chambers allows them to be rolled for easy transportation and for charging.
Heating Control Circuit and Electric Blanket Configured with Heating Control Circuit
A heating control circuit to improve safety of electric blankets and similar electric heating devices, the heating control circuit can accurately control a heating temperature, can detect a working state of key elements, and can prevent a local temperature of an electric heating wire from being too high and causing a fire, thereby ensuring the safety of users. In order to achieve the above objective, the present invention adopts the following technical solution: a heating control circuit configured to control power of an electric heating element includes: a temperature sensing element, having positive temperature coefficient (“PTC”) characteristics and configured to sense a temperature of the electric heating element to generate a temperature voltage; a first comparison circuit, configured to compare the temperature voltage with a reference voltage to generate a comparison signal; a controller, configured to output an on-off control signal according to the comparison signal; and a first switching element, coupled into a ground loop of the electric heating element and configured to switch on or off a power loop of the electric heating element based on the on-off control signal.
Modular Panel Bedding System
The present disclosure is directed to a bedding panel system comprising a bottom or fitted sheet with embedded channels throughout such that at least one or more modular top panels and cushions can be attached to create physical sleep chamber spaces and thus independent “sleep zones” for multiple occupants on a single mattress. A bedding panel system can have dimensions to fit any size mattress. Fitted sheet, modular panels and cushions can include several layered components, each with comfort or utility features for each sleep chamber space. Top and bottom layers of fitted sheet and modular panels may be comprised of various fabrics and materials desirable for sleep comfort. Middle layers of fitted sheet and modular panels can include items such as foam or gel padding, moisture resistant barriers, biometric sensors for measuring physical health and sleep quality, and hardware for heating and cooling. Customized foot panels with specialized materials and electronic components can also be attached to fitted sheet for elevated comfort in the foot box. Bedding panel system components can be embedded with channels, arranged in crisscross and diagonal patterns, containing reinforced holes spaced symmetrically throughout to accommodate different configurations for modular panel and cushion installations. Anchor systems can include a variety of material and hardware combinations to enable ease of component connections, sleep comfort, and convenience of occupant access to sleep zones. Similar to modular panel configurations, anchors allow cushions, pillows, pillow cases and similar headrests designed for the head box section to remain connected to fitted sheet to ensure sleep materials remain intact and in place for the duration of the occupants sleep session.
Magnetorheological elastomer and magnetorheological fluid for clinical wrap
A reinforcing clinical wrap is provided with integral thermal management. The clinical wrap includes a fluid circuit for a heat transfer medium to circulate between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. A shape conforming medium is disposed within a portion of the clinical wrap providing selective reinforcement support of the portion of the clinical wrap to conform to a surface of a patient. Non-limiting examples of the shape conforming medium may include a magnetorheological elastomer, a magnetorheological elastomer, a magnetorheological foam, a UV curable resin, and a phase change material.
Apparatus Capable of Transforming Between a Sleep Aid and a Tote Bag
An apparatus capable of transforming between a sleep aid and a tote bag is an apparatus that can be used to help the user to carry various personal objects while travelling. The apparatus can also be used for comfort while the user rests during the travel. To do so, the apparatus includes a tote bag, a plurality of heating devices, and a controller. The tote bag is a transformable structure that can be configured to be used as a storage structure or as a pillow-blanket combination. The tote bag also facilitates the transformation of the apparatus between the two configurations by the user on-the-go. The plurality of heating devices provides warm and comfort to the user when the user utilizes the apparatus as a pillow-blanket combination. The controller enables the user to control the operation of the plurality of heating devices while utilizing the apparatus as a pillow-blanket combination.
Weighted blanket with thermally regulated fluid
The present invention provides a weighted article for assisting sleep, wherein the weighted article includes heating and cooling means. The weighted article is perforated by a series of channels, which contribute to the weight of the weighted article and allow the passage of a fluid that is continuously pumped throughout the weighted article while the weighted article is in use. The weighted article is connected to a control unit including means to thermoelectrical heat or cool the fluid such that a user of the weighted article is able to increase or decrease their body temperature.
