Bottom-fitted sheet and method of making
Elements and methods for providing bottom-fitted sheet are provided. In some embodiments, the bottom-fitted sheet can include a bottom layer and a top layer, wherein the feet ends of the two layers are joined together. In some embodiments, one or more elastic elements can also be used for coupling at least a portion of the bottom layer to the top layer.
Unitary Elastic Mattress Cover and Method for Manufacturing Same
A unitary mattress cover is disclosed. The mattress cover has a top panel and four side panels, which include two end side panels, a left side panel and a right side panel made from a single blank of fabric. Elastic materials are attached to at least a portion of the left and right side panels, and the left and right side panels are longer than the top panel in a longitudinal direction, and wherein free edges of the left and right side panels are attached to one of the two end side panels or to each other. Also disclosed is a method for making this unitary mattress cover in one continuous manufacturing process.
Combination Linens Bedding Arrangement
These are blankets, pillowcases and bedsheets, (both fitted and flat) in all sizes, twin, full, queen, king and California king. These linens, sheets and/or blankets are sewn either vertically or horizontally together combining different fabrics. The pillowcases are sewn using two different fabrics (topside/backside). This allows for individuals or couples to access two different bedding fabrics within the same bedding. For example: the vertical sheets may be comprised of half cotton/half flannel, or half microfiber/half fleece, which allows for individuals to have their preferred fabric for sleeping comfort. The horizontal linen sets would comprise of 2 different fabrics one on top, different one on bottom, which would allow individuals to have a warm fabric such as fleece on the bottom half of the sheet with a cooler fabric such as cotton on the top half of the sheet. These linens and sheets differ from others, in that they allow individual preference of fabric to sleep on.
Adjustable Fitted Bed Sheet
An adjustable fitted bed sheet for a first sized mattress and a second sized mattress, the adjustable fitted bed sheet comprising a first top portion and at least one second top portion, the first top portion configured to substantially cover a top of a first sized mattress, and the first top portion and the at least one second top portions configured to substantially cover a top of a second sized mattress. The adjustable fitted bed sheet may include a number of elastic stitch elements having a coefficient of elasticity that may differ from another. A bottom peripheral edge portion is also provided that defines a hollow cylindrical edge portion substantially parallel to the bottom peripheral edge portion. A securing apparatus may also be provided that is configured to reciprocally engage at least one aperture defined by the bottom peripheral edge portion.
Protective Cover for Public Diaper Changing Stations
A protective cover for public diaper changing stations includes a top rectangular panel, a bottom rectangular panel, a folded edge, a sewn edge, a fixed-conner connection, and an insertion-corner connection. The top rectangular panel and the bottom rectangular panel are oppositely positioned of each other about the folded edge. The sewn edge is perpendicularly positioned to the folded edge about the fixed-corner connection. The top rectangular panel and the bottom rectangular panel are terminally connected to each other through the sewn edge. The insertion-corner connection is diametrically opposed of the fixed-corner connection. The top rectangular panel and the bottom rectangular panel are connected to each other through the insertion-corner connection thus delineating two openings for the insertion of the protective cover.
Integral Sheet Stay Systems
An integrated sheet stay system suitable for maintaining a mattress cover in position is presented. The system includes a mattress cover. The mattress cover positionable on a mattress. The system also includes at least one strap wherein the at least one strap connects opposing sides of the mattress cover on an underside of the mattress and wherein the mattress cover and the at least one strap form a unitary piece. An integrated sheet stay system suitable for maintaining a bed top sheet in position is presented. The system includes a bed top sheet. The bed top sheet positionable on a mattress and/or mattress cover. The system also includes at least one strap wherein the at least one strap connects opposing sides of the bed top sheet on an underside of the mattress and wherein the bed top sheet and the at least one strap form a unitary piece.
Article comprising a temperature-conditioned surface, thermoelectric control unit, and method for temperature-conditioning the surface of an article
The present invention provides systems, methods, and articles for temperature conditioning a surface. An article is formed from a first layer having a plurality of openings and a second layer having a corresponding plurality of openings. At least one interior chamber constructed and configured to retain a fluid without leaking is defined between an interior surface of the first layer and an interior surface of the second layer. At least one flexible fluid supply line delivers the fluid to the at least one interior chamber. At least one flexible fluid return line removes the fluid from the at least one interior chamber. At least one control unit that is operable to selectively cool or heat the fluid is attached to the at least one flexible fluid supply line and the at least one flexible fluid return line.
SPLIT BEDDING PROVIDING INDEPENDENT MOVEMENT AND COMFORT ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BED
Example split bedding systems include a first sheet section comprising a first side portion and a first end portion and a second sheet section comprising a second side portion and a second end portion. The first end portion having a first tuck flap region extending between opposing notched-out corners, and the second end portion having a second tuck flap region between opposing notched-out corners. The first side portion of the first sheet section overlaps with the second side portion of the second sheet section. Part of the first tuck flap region and part of the second tuck flap region are attached via an attachment system to form a joined sheet
Bed-based patient care apparatus
A fitted bottom sheet (which may be comprised of low-friction material if desired) can include at least one tube-receiving hole formed therethrough. By one approach the corners of the fitted bottom sheet can include a strap to help retain the fitted bottom sheet on a mattress. By one approach the aforementioned tube-receiving hole can be formed at each corner of the fitted bottom sheet. A strapless repositioning sheet can have a low-friction mattress-facing side in combination with webbing disposed along and attached to at least two side edges of the strapless repositioning sheet to thereby form a plurality of handhold openings and a plurality of strap-connection openings.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING A FITTED SHEET
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing fitted bedsheets, in which: rectangular sheet pieces (9) are cut; each corner (1,5) of the sheet pieces (9) is folded in on itself, the portions that are folded in on themselves are joined by a seam at a distance from the tip of the corner (1,5) of the sheet piece; and the tip projecting beyond the seam is cut off, forming a rectangular-shaped sheet piece (11), wherein the sheet piece (9) is held at each corner (1,5) at two holding points (2, 3; 6, 7), the first holding point (2; 6) on the first peripheral edge (13,13′) is moved parallel to a plane covered by the sheet piece to the second holding point (3; 7) on the second peripheral edge (14,14′), together with the associated portion of the sheet piece (9); and the holding points (2′, 3; 6′, 7) are held one on top of the other and a sheet flap in the shape of a right-angled triangle is formed, said sheet flap being provided with the seam (18) along the second leg (17) of the triangle then being cut off next to the seam (18) following the line of the latter.
