A bed sheet is provided that includes top, side and end panels. Adjacent ends of the side and end panels are joined to form a seam at a corner of the sheet. The side and end panels each have a lower edge that is spaced apart from the top panel. At least one of the corners includes a power band having a first side that extends from a portion of the lower edge of one of the end panels to one of the seams. A second side of the power band extends from a portion of the lower edge of one of the side panels to the one of the seams. A third side of the power band extends from the portion of the lower edge of the one of the end panels to the portion of the lower edge of the one of the side panels.

A mattress cover includes a bottom panel, a top panel, a fixed side panel joined to the bottom panel and an expansion side panel joined to the fixed side panel and to the top panel. A fully separable expansion closure has a first part at an expansion panel upper edge and a second part at an expansion panel lower edge. When the expansion panel closure parts are engaged, the expansion panel is in an unexpanded state to define a first interior volume of the cover and the cover accommodates mattresses of a height in a first range of heights. When the expansion panel closure parts are disengaged, the expansion panel is in an expanded state to define a second interior volume of the cover larger than the first interior volume, and the mattress cover accommodates mattresses of a height in a second range of heights larger than the first range of heights.

A fitted bed sheet that includes a top sheet. An upper edge sheet strip is attached to the top sheet along a lateral edge of the top sheet such that the length of the upper edge sheet is coupled with the lateral edge of the top sheet. The width of the upper edge sheet strip is defined such that at least a portion of the upper edge sheet strip extends orthogonally to the surface of the mattress so as to stretch over a portion of a side of the mattress. A corner sheet has: a first end attached to the top sheet, a corner sheet side attached to the upper edge sheet strip, and a second end opposite the first end. The second end includes an elastic cord with which, when the fitted bed sheet is placed on the mattress, the fitted bed sheet captures a corner of the mattress.

A bedsheet with an integrated swaddle garment can hold babies securely while allowing access to the baby (e.g., to one or more arms and/or one or more legs of the baby) for examination and/or medical procedures without having to take the baby out of the garment. The bedsheet can be fitted over a mattress (e.g., at home, in a hospital) and the baby (newborn baby, premature baby, infant) can be placed in a cavity or pocket in the blanket and portions of the garment fastened to secure the baby or infant within the garment.

A mattress cover including a substantially rectangular piece of material including a top center portion for fitting upon a top surface of a mattress, and a peripheral skirt portion including two end panels and two side panels, wherein the respective end panels and side panels may be attached together at each corner for fitting over corresponding sides and ends of the mattress, corner panels attached to a bottom portion of each corner formed from the respective attached end panels and side panels, wherein the corner panels may be substantially parallel to the top center portion, and one or more elastic bands attached around a bottom periphery of an inside edge of the skirt portion and corner panels.

Fabric covers are presented including: a top fabric panel; a bottom fabric panel having substantially equivalent dimensions as the top fabric panel, where the bottom fabric panel and the top fabric define a space for receiving a cushion; a full-width opening disposed along an end of the fabric cover; and a partial opening disposed along an opposite end of the fabric cover. In some embodiments, the partial opening further includes: a first internal flap extending from the opposite end of the fabric cover toward the end and coupled with one of the top fabric panel or the bottom fabric panel substantially perpendicular with the partial opening; and a second internal flap extending from the opposite end of the fabric cover toward the end and coupled with the first internal flap substantially perpendicular with the partial opening.

A cover includes a wear detection component. The wear detection component includes a wear layer and a visual wear indicator. The wear layer is designed and configured to reduce its thickness to a threshold thickness, or to disintegrate, after a preselected number of cleanings have been experience by the cover. The visual wear indicator is configured to indicate to the user that the cover has been through a threshold number of cleanings. When the wear layer has reduced its thickness to the threshold thickness, or has disintegrated, the wear layer reveals the visual wear indicator, indicating to the user that the cover is ready for replacement.

Example split bedding systems include a first sheet section comprising a first side portion and a first end portion and a second sheet section comprising a second side portion and a second end portion. The first end portion having a first tuck flap region extending between opposing notched-out corners, and the second end portion having a second tuck flap region between opposing notched-out corners. The first side portion of the first sheet section overlaps with the second side portion of the second sheet section. Part of the first tuck flap region and part of the second tuck flap region are attached via an attachment system to form a joined sheet.

A fitted sheet which will fit both a standard-size twin mattress and an XL-size twin mattress without undue wrinkling or bunching of fabric is disclosed. This fitted sheet has a top panel, a first side panel attached to the top panel, a second side panel attached to the top panel, a front panel attached to the top panel, the first side panel and the second side panel, and a rear panel attached to the top panel, the first side panel and the second side panel. An elastic strip is proved near each corner or near two corners at one end of the fitted sheet. The elastic strips are oriented lengthwise on the fitted sheet.

A bedding assembly for retention of bedding and facile remaking of a bed includes a sleeve that is configured for insertion of a mattress. The sleeve is configured to substantially cover the mattress. A first perimeter portion of a covering is coupled to a foot end and opposing longitudinal sections of the sleeve. The covering, which is substantially complementary to an upper surface of the mattress, and the sleeve define a pocket bounded by the foot end and the opposing longitudinal sections of the sleeve. A second perimeter portion, which is not coupled to the sleeve, is configured for entry of the user into the pocket. The covering is coupled to the sleeve such that the covering is positionally restrained relative to the sleeve. The covering is readily repositioned over the sleeve upon exiting of the user from the pocket.
