MICRO-ADJUSTMENT OF CUSHIONS
A method for adjusting a cushioning element, such as a pillow, by adjusting a length and a volume of a cover of the pillow. The cover includes one or more gathering elements that can alter the length and the volume of the cover. Each gathering element may extend around an end of the cover. Each gathering element may enable adjustment of the length and volume of the cover in extremely small increments or even continuously (i.e., in micro adjustments). Micro-adjustment of the length and volume of the cover may enable adjustment of a position and/or an orientation of at least one endpoint of a closed kinematic chain of an individual's spine, which may provide control over a curvature of the spine.
BEDDING FOR COUPLES
A bedding for couples that is separated into two different sections, each section associated with one of the two opposing sides of the bedding, each section having independent design attributes. In certain embodiments, the two adjacent sections may represent juxtaposed indicia, such as opposing gender motifs, rivalrous sports emblems, contrasting appearances, or the like.
HERBAL PILLOW
A pillow according to the present disclosure includes a liner that forms an enclosure and a fill that is located within the enclosure, the fill deforming to provide support when the pillow is used. The pillow further includes an herbal mixture, located within the enclosure of the liner, the herbal mixture providing an aroma to the user when the pillow is used.
STRETCHABLE BEDDING COMPONENTS
Stretchable bedding components reconfigurable between a neutral or retracted configuration and an expanded configuration. In example embodiments, fabric is cut and sewn to form one or more bedding components with at least some dimensions being about 5%-30% less than those of conventional or traditional bedding components. In example embodiments, the length and/or width of the bedding component is expandable between about 5%-30%. In example embodiments, the stretchable bedding components include a biocomponent yarn having a helical structure that imparts elasticity therein so as to permit stretching of the one or more bedding components.
Pillow cover and method of use
A pillow cover which includes a pocket for receiving a pillow and blanket or sheet material extending away from the pocket to provide a combination pillow and blanket. This provides a comfortable sleeping object which allows for additional covering of the arms and/or body while also providing a sleeping surface for the user's head. The blanket or sheet material may end in a covering flap along one or more of its edges. These covering flaps provide a cavity for receiving a portion of the user's body, such as an arm. These flaps may further be secured on one end with a seam to form a partially closed pocket, or the flaps may be free along their ends.
System and method for face cradle cover
System and method for adjustable, seamless face cradle cover providing a barrier between a patient from any unprotected and potentially unsanitary areas of the face cradle while allowing the patient to breathe freely and prevent creases forming on the patient's face.
Combination Linens Bedding Arrangement
These are blankets, pillowcases and bedsheets, (both fitted and flat) in all sizes, twin, full, queen, king and California king. These linens, sheets and/or blankets are sewn either vertically or horizontally together combining different fabrics. The pillowcases are sewn using two different fabrics (topside/backside). This allows for individuals or couples to access two different bedding fabrics within the same bedding. For example: the vertical sheets may be comprised of half cotton/half flannel, or half microfiber/half fleece, which allows for individuals to have their preferred fabric for sleeping comfort. The horizontal linen sets would comprise of 2 different fabrics one on top, different one on bottom, which would allow individuals to have a warm fabric such as fleece on the bottom half of the sheet with a cooler fabric such as cotton on the top half of the sheet. These linens and sheets differ from others, in that they allow individual preference of fabric to sleep on.
Micro-adjustable covers for cushions
A cover for a cushioning element, such as a pillow, volume adjustable. The cover includes one or more gathering elements that can alter a length and a volume of the cover. Each gathering element may extend around an end of the cover (e.g., circumferentially, helically around a circumference of the cover, etc.). Each gathering element may enable adjustment of the length and volume of the cover in extremely small increments or even continuously (i.e., in micro adjustments). The length and volume of the cover may be adjusted in a manner that limits or prevents migration of a cushioning element (e.g., an infill material, etc.) within the cover. A cushion, such as a pillow, may include a volume-adjustable cover with a cushioning element therein. Methods for adjusting the manner in which a cushioning element supports, molds around, underfills, and/or backfills a load and its form are also disclosed.
Pillowcase whose internal cavity accommodates an open pocket into which is fitted a neck support cushion
A method of making a pillowcase and a pillowcase having a cavity that accommodates therein a pillow and having a pocket within the cavity that accommodates therein a neck support cushion. The pocket may have an opening that is fully accessible after folding the pillowcase inside out. The opening may be closed by a releasable fastener, such as fabric strips that tie to each other into knots across the opening.
