The present disclosure relates to a new and improved textile fabric fabricated of twill weave sheeting that has excellent wrinkle resisting characteristics, improved softness and durability over the sheeting fabrics currently being manufactured, enhanced aesthetic appeal, economy in cost of manufacture and other desirable characteristics. The textile fabric of the present disclosure can be formed of warp and weft yarns of twill weave construction wherein each of the warp yarns can be made of a natural material and each of the weft yarns can be made of a synthetic material. In an embodiment, the twill weave sheeting can have warp yarn and weft yarn, wherein the warp yarn and the weft yarn being a cross weave of cotton and polyester.

A duvet cover comprised of a pouch which is dimensioned to receive therein a flat down insulating sheet. The pouch has an opening for the insertion and removal of the down insulating sheet whenever the pouch needs to be cleaned. Accordingly, the down insulating sheet is not subjected to washing or dry tumbling which is damaging to the down insulating sheet. Attachments are secured inside the pouch and along peripheral edges of the down insulating sheet whereby the down insulating sheet is secured in position inside the pouch and does not shift, although it is in close fit therein. Such duvet cover has a uniform flat appearance and has a prolonged life.

The bedding insert includes a first portion of a zipper that corresponds to a second portion of a zipper found in the bedding cover. The second zipper portion is disposed on an inside portion of the bedding cover near an edge of the bedding cover. The bedding cover further includes a front panel that is connected to a back panel. Also discussed herein, is bedding cover comprising one or more zipper portions disposed on an inside portion near one or more edges of the bedding cover. The bedding cover also includes a front panel and a back panel that is connected to the front panel.

SIMULATED DUVET COVER SYSTEM

A simulated duvet cover system provides an easily-manufactured and assembled construction in which a cover layer, defined by top and bottom fabric sheets with pockets defined therebetween, is configured to be removably coupled to a separate fill layer, defined by a blanket or comforter. The bottom fabric sheet extends inwardly from the periphery of the top fabric sheet to surround a central opening, which the fill layer can be inserted through and then tucked into the pockets. A further backing layer may be connected to the cover layer with non-metallic and non-rigid fasteners such as fabric knot buttons, to cover the central opening. The system hides the appearance of the fill layer when in use, thereby providing a similar appearance to a conventional duvet cover, while still allowing for easy removal and cleaning of the system with industrial laundering equipment or the like.

A top covering assembly including a top covering, a heat-reflecting sheet, and a top sheet attaches securely to the foot end of the fitted bottom sheet. The top covering assembly and fitted bottom sheet may be installed simultaneously as an integral unit on a cot or mattress. The top covering assembly may be formed with a pocket for receiving additional thermal insulation such as another blanket. Embodiments may be securely and neatly placed on rectangular mattresses, nonrectangular mattresses, and bedding without mattresses such as folding camp cots.

TICKING

Ticking having excellent flexibility is described. A woven fabric is obtained by using a multifilament having a monofilament fineness of not more than 0.5 dtex, the number of filaments of 100 or more and a total fineness of not more than 50 dtex and used as ticking. The woven fabric can be made of a polyester.

A system, method and apparatus of joining a duvet cover with a comforter are described including a duvet cover having two opposing interior surfaces defining an interior cavity and having an opening such that a user can access the interior cavity of the duvet cover, a comforter having two opposing exterior surfaces and operable to be inserted at least partially inside the duvet cover through the opening, and a first fastener of the comforter and a second fastener of the interior cavity of the duvet cover, wherein the first fastener and second fastener are compatible and operable to be joined, such that when joined they at least partially prevent movement of the comforter with respect to the interior cavity of the duvet cover.

A bedding system, method and kit for the automation and ventilation of an existing duvet are disclosed. The system has an inflatable lining configured to be inserted and affixed into a cover together with the duvet, the inflatable lining comprising a network of pneumatic chambers defining a plurality of openings extending through the lining allowing air to circulate through the lining; and an air blower operatively connected to the inflatable lining for blowing air into the network of pneumatic chambers, so as in use, the inflatable lining is inflated to allow for the duvet and its cover to be straightened back into position after every use of the bed. The system can also include a sub-network for providing warm or cold air to control the temperature of the bedding. In contrast to traditional systems, the proposed invention is light weight and easily adaptable to current commercially available beds.
