Duvet cover-devices and methods of use
Devices and methods that allow for rapid and efficient changing of duvet covers, comprising an upper section and a lower section of washable material that are sized to be significantly larger than a duvet that will be covered and isolated. The upper and lower sections are secured together along a single edge only, and that edge is positioned at the head of the bed. The duvet is placed between the upper and lower sections, isolating and enclosing the duvet, thereby preventing the duvet from becoming exposed while the bed is in use, and simultaneously allowing for easy and rapid changing of the duvet cover after use.
Central access duvet cover with coverable opening
A duvet cover includes first and second fabric layers with a pocket defined between the layers, and which is configured to have an opening defining an entrance to the pocket that can receive a separate fill layer, defined by a blanket or comforter. At least a section of one of the fabric layers defining a flap configured to engage with a corresponding section of the duvet cover and cover the opening via fastening elements. At least some of the fastening elements can be color-coded to identify the size of the bed for which the duvet cover is to cover. One of the fabric layers and the fill layer can include fastening elements that engage one another to secure the fill layer in position within the cover assembly. The duvet cover hides the appearance of the fill layer in the pocket and covers the opening through which the fill layer is received.
Bedding covers and bedding cover systems
Bedding covers for selectively covering an insulated bedding item. The bedding covers include a cover member, a flap member, and a cover fastener. The cover member is complementarily configured with the length and the width of the insulated bedding item. The cover member has a cover top edge having a cover width at least as wide as the width of the insulated bedding item. The flap member is coupled to the cover member along the cover top edge. The cover fastener is configured to secure the cover member to the insulated bedding item and is disposed on either the cover member or the flap member. The cover member and the flap member collectively define a flap configured to receive a portion of the insulated bedding item. The cover fastener and the flap cooperate to secure the insulated bedding item within the flap.
Bedding Protector
A bedding protector for installing over a bedding to serve as a machine washable barrier between a user and their bedding. The bedding protector comprises a body that is adapted to be attached to the bedding in a secured position such that the interior side of the body lays atop an exterior side of the bedding. A fastening system includes a bedding protector fastener configured to releasably mate with a bedding fastener, such that when they are secured to one another the bedding protector and bedding are thereby secured to each other. In one embodiment, the bedding protector wraps around the bedding to lay against the exterior side of the bedding so as to sandwich the bedding. In another embodiment, the bedding protector secures to the bedding via a zipper fastener. The bedding protector prevents dirt, odors, and oils from a sleeper's skin from transferring onto the bedding.
Cover for a duvet and method of use
A cover for a duvet includes a sheet of fabric which has a first section and a second section. The first section has a left side, a right side, and a transverse side. The second section has a left side, a right side, and a transverse side. A left closure is configured to only connect the left side of the first section to the left side of the second section, and a right closure is configured to only connect the right side of the first section to the right side of the second section. A hood is connected to either the transverse side of the first section or the transverse side of the second section. After the left and rights sides of the two sections are connected, the hood is folded over to completely enclose the duvet.
Therapeutic Human Body Covering System and Methods of Treatment
A therapeutic human body covering system includes a fabric body having a first side, a second side and a plurality of weighted elements positioned therebetween. A first connector is disposed along an outer periphery of the fabric body along the first side. The system also includes a cover having a first complementary connector that is disposed along a portion of an inside facing surface. The complementary connector functioning to engage the primary connector to receive and secure the fabric body to the cover. A pair of secondary connectors are disposed along the outer periphery of the cover and function to removably secure the cover in a closed position that fully encompass the fabric body secured within.
MODULAR DUVET APPARATUS AND METHODS
A modular duvet includes a first segment a second segment separate from the first segment; a first attachment device disposed on an edge of the first segment; a second attachment device disposed on an edge of the second segment. The first attachment device is configured to mate with the second attachment device to reversibly attach the first segment to the second segment to form the duvet.
Electric Blanket Enclosure
An electric blanket enclosure that is configured to mateably receive an electric blanket within the interior volume thereof so as to inhibit soiling of the electric blanket. The electric blanket enclosure includes a body having opposing walls forming a void therebetween. The opposing walls are secured along the peripheral edges thereof and further include a first layer and a second layer. The body of the present invention includes a first end and a second end wherein first end further includes an opening. The opening proximate the first end extends across the width of the body. A storage compartment is formed on an inner surface of one of the opposing walls. A second opening is formed in the body and the second opening is configured to have an electrical cord journaled therethrough. The second layer of the opposing walls are manufactured from a fire retardant material.
Bedding
A system for securing an internal padding element of a doona to conform with the extent of a sheath or cover of the doona; the system including providing fastening means at least proximate the respective four corners of the internal padding element and the sheath or cover of the doona.
