METHOD FOR FABRICATING DIAMOND-POLISHED APPLIQUES FOR HOROLOGY
A method for fabricating an applique for horology including a visible upper surface, and a lower surface for resting on a dial or a structure of a timepiece, and at least one foot projecting from the lower surface for attachment to such a dial or such a structure, according to which method, in a first operation, there is provided a profile or bar in which blanks of the feet and of the lower surface are machined, prior to cutting the profile or bar in a second operation, and then re-machining the upper surface, with at least one final diamond-polishing operation, wherein, during the first operation, at least two machining operations are performed in a cross so as to form a blank of each foot with a polygonal contour having facets.
DIAMOND-POLISHED APPLIQUE FOR HOROLOGY
A method for fabricating an applique for horology including a visible upper surface, and a lower surface from which protrudes at least one securing foot: a rough piece is made as a straight workpiece; this rough piece is deformed to form a blank so as to form an upper curve; this blank including this feet is machined; this blank is mounted on a tool having a support surface complementary to the lower surface of this blank, a recess for housing each foot, gripping means and/or an adhesive for securing each blank; the upper curve of this blank is machined with at least one final diamond-polishing operation to form this upper surface.
External element or dial for horology or jewellery made of conductive material
A method for fabricating a timepiece component made of conductive material includes: making a base from conductive material; coating the base with a first layer of sacrificial metal protection material; etching a recessed decoration mechanically or with a laser; coating the first recessed decoration and the remaining part of the first layer with a second metal and/or coloured decorative treatment layer; and removing each first sacrificial metal protection layer by chemical devices, to obtain a blank including a first decoration formed by the remaining part of the second layer.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FUNCTIONAL ELEMENT ON A TIMEPIECE COMPONENT
A method for producing a functional element on a timepiece component, including generating, with a control unit, at least one control command for a printing device intended to reproduce a reference digital graphical representation relating to the functional element; and constructing, with the printing device, at least one layer of at least one functional particle printed on the timepiece component so as to form the functional element.
METHOD FOR COATING AN EXTERNAL PART, IN PARTICULAR IN THE HOROLOGICAL FIELD, AND COATED EXTERNAL PART
A method for coating an external part (1) used in the horology, fashion, jewellery and gemstone jewellery fields, the coating method comprising the steps of at least partially overmoulding the external part (1) with an overmoulding layer (4) made of a plastic polymer material selected from the group consisting of thermoplastic polymers of the polyurethane family and thermosetting polymers of the epoxy polymer family, or from the group consisting of thermoplastic acrylic resins.
Method for fabrication of a timepiece provided with a multi-level exterior element
A method for fabrication of a piece including, superposing an electrically insulating layer including a first orifice, an additional layer including a first aperture, an intermediate layer including a first hole, and a base layer surmounted by a base motif, depositing a metal layer, so that at the end of this step, the metal layer forms a shell covering electrically conductive walls of the base motif, of the first orifice, of the first aperture and of the first hole, and includes a lateral area resting on the insulating layer, dissolving the insulating layer, coating the metal or alloy layer with a volume formed by a base material of the piece, so that the volume conforms to the shapes of the metal layer.
Dial for timepieces
A dial for a timepiece, preferably a watch, the dial being provided with a relief portion which is made as an assembly of pieces on different levels, juxtaposed on a base, such that the relief portion is formed by the upper surfaces of the pieces. A method for manufacturing the dial with several separate pieces, the upper surfaces of the pieces being subjected to a polishing step and/or possibly an enameling step. The pieces are then cut along a defined contour and then assembled edge-to-edge on a base, so as to create the relief portion.
Process for blanking appliques in the field of watchmaking
A process for blanking an applique for a watch dial, comprises a step of blanking with a laser beam a first part of the outline of this applique, defining a pointed zone or/and a thin groove of at least a first hollow or/and the point or/and the drawn-out portion of at least a first projecting part, and a step of blanking by means of a stamp a second part of said outline which is complementary with the first part. This hybrid blanking technology makes it possible to obtain appliques having, at the end of the blanking process according to the invention, an outline which defines at least one hollow having a pointed zone or/and a thin groove or/and which defines at least one projecting part forming a point or/and a drawn-out portion with configurations and particular dimensions that cannot be obtained by blanking merely by stamping.
Black component decorated with stones and manufacturing method thereof
A component for the internal parts or the movement for a timepiece or a piece of jewellery including a substrate partially coated with a black layer and decorated with at least one stone, the black layer including carbon nanotubes or aluminium oxide, the substrate being at least devoid of the black layer on the portion facing the stone. It also relates to the method for manufacturing this component for the timepiece or the piece of jewellery.
Method for fabricating diamond-polished appliques for horology
An applique for horology includes a visible upper surface and a lower surface for resting on a dial or a structure of a timepiece. The applique also includes at least one foot projecting from the lower surface for attachment to the dial or the structure. To manufacture the applique, in a first operation, a profile or bar is provided in which blanks of the feet and of the lower surface are machined prior to cutting the profile or bar in a second operation. Then, the upper surface is re-machined with at least one final diamond-polishing operation. During the first operation, at least two machining operations are performed in a cross so as to form a blank of each foot with a polygonal contour having facets.
