A method (100) for depositing over a substrate (1) a coating (20) absorbing visible light for the formation of an item (10), such as a watch component, including: providing a substrate (1); depositing an underlayer (21) covering at least one portion of the substrate (1) by application of a first liquid mixture including a binder, a solvent and pigments having a d90 percentile of nanometric dimension, the underlayer (21) being formed by evaporation of said solvent; depositing a stack (25) of a plurality of layers (22, 23, 24) with different particle sizes between each layer n of the stack (25) by successive application of a plurality of liquid mixtures including a binder, a solvent and pigments with different particle sizes; each layer of the stack (25) being formed by evaporation of the solvent and each layer n at least partially covering a preceding layer n1.
DECORATIVE COMPONENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING DECORATIVE COMPONENT
A decorative component of the present invention is a decorative component including an oxide layer containing cuprous oxide on a surface of the decorative component, in which the oxide layer does not substantially contain bubbles. In a method for producing the decorative component, a component precursor of which a surface is entirely or partially formed of copper, is heated to 700 C. to 900 C. in an electric furnace under conditions in which an oxygen partial pressure is 1300 Pa or less and a supply rate is 50 mL/min or less, and then cooled to form the oxide layer.
METHOD FOR DECORATING A TIMEPIECE COMPONENT
A method for decorating a timepiece component, particularly a skeleton type watch dial. The component includes at least two different visual appearances, each visual appearance being the unique combination of a surface finish and of a colour. The decoration has the following steps: i) providing a component blank with a first unfinished surface (10a); ii) creating on said first unfinished surface a first termination possessing a first surface finish; iii) applying to the first termination one or more layers of atoms so as to give the first termination a first colour; iv) creating a second termination having at least one breaking of a corner on the blank in order to form at least one bevel or at least one chamfer having a second unfinished surface; v) creating on said second unfinished surface a second termination conferring a second surface finish, and vi) using electroplating, PVD or ALD, to deposit a metallic layer, preferably a layer of rhodium or of gold, on the second termination so as to give the second termination a second colour.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A TIMEPIECE ASSEMBLY, AND TIMEPIECE ASSEMBLY
The method is for producing a timepiece assembly (3) having a first timepiece component (1) with a connecting portion comprising at least one opening (10) and at least one second timepiece component (2) distinct from the first timepiece component (1) having at least one conformation (20), the connecting portion of the first timepiece component (1) and/or the conformation of the second timepiece component (2) forming a part based on a sintered zirconia. The method includes a heat treatment of joining together which is predefined to induce a phase change from the tetragonal phase to the monoclinic phase, or vice versa, of the part based on a sintered zirconia, this phase change inducing a change in the dimensions of at least the part based on a sintered zirconia so as to join together the connecting portion of the first timepiece component (1) and the conformation of the second timepiece component (2).
PART WITH 3D DECORATION AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
A method for manufacturing a part (1) made of an electrically non-conductive material, the part (1) including at least one relief decoration (2a) of a noble metal or its alloy, the method including the steps of: depositing a first adhesion layer (4a) and a second adhesion layer (4b) on the surface (2) of an bauche (3); depositing by electroforming a layer of the noble metal or of its alloy (5) on the second adhesion layer (4b); laser cutting the layer of noble metal or of its alloy (5) to outline the relief decoration (2a); depositing a protective layer (7) around the relief decoration (2a); removing the layer of noble metal or of its alloy (5) from portions (2c) not covered by the protective layer (7); removing the protective layer (7); and removing the first adhesion layer (4a) and optionally the second adhesion layer (4b) on the portions (2c).
Method for manufacturing an external component of a watch, of a fashion item or of a jewellery item
A method for manufacturing an external component of a watch, of a fashion item or of a jewellery item, including depositing an inner layer on all or part of the surface of an inner face of a substrate made of a transparent material, localised ablation of the inner layer, so as to conserve a part of the inner layer on a first portion of the inner face f the substrate, the ablation being performed so as to form at least one pocket opening onto a second portion of the inner face of the substrate and so as to structure the second portion of the inner fa of the substrate, treating the surface of the inner layer and of the second portion of the inner face of the substrate.
Watch component, watch, and method for manufacturing watch component
A watch component includes a substrate including a first region where a plurality of first recesses is formed in a surface, and a second region where a plurality of second recesses is formed in the surface, and a multilayer film covering at least a part of the first region and the second region. In a cross-sectional view obtained by cutting the substrate in a thickness direction, the plurality of first recesses is defined by a first side, and a second side tilted with respect to the first side and being in contact with the first side at an end portion. In the cross-sectional view, the plurality of second recesses is defined by a third side, and a fourth side tilted with respect to the third side and being in contact with the third side at an end portion. In the cross-sectional view, an angle of an inclination of the second side with respect to a direction orthogonal to the thickness direction of the substrate and an angle of an inclination of the fourth side with respect to the direction orthogonal to the thickness direction of the substrate are different from each other. In plan view as viewed from the thickness direction of the substrate, the first region and the second region have a value of a brightness L* in a L*a*b* color space of 5 or greater and 20 or less.
