The head and neck rest device can achieve the purpose of relaxation and rest.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS FOR FACILITATING POSITIONING A PERSON IN SUPINE SNIFF POSITION
Embodiments of an apparatus for supporting the neck and head of a user for airway management are described. The apparatus can include a base support section, which can rest on a supporting surface, a front side, two opposing sides and a back side with the base support section being dimensioned between about 25-26 inches in width, between about 16-17 inches in depth and about 6 inches in height with a separate and removable and replaceable head/neck support section.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS FOR FACILITATING POSITIONING A PERSON IN SUPINE SNIFF POSITION AND PROVIDING SCAPULAR RELIEF
An apparatus for supporting the neck and head of a user for airway management includes a base support section with a sloping ramp for supporting the user's shoulders and back, where the base support section can rest on a resting surface (i.e., a surface on which the apparatus is positioned), a front side, two opposing sides and a back side with the sloping ramp extending from a front edge of the apparatus to a top head-receiving portion. In general, the apparatus can be made in different sizes for accommodating different individuals. In some embodiments, the base support section can have a width in a range of about 20 inches to about 30 inches, a depth in a range of about 16 to about 17 inches and a height in a range of about 12 to about 15 inches, though other sizes can also be employed.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS FOR FACILITATING POSITIONING A PERSON IN LATERAL SNIFF POSITION
In one aspect, an apparatus for supporting the head and neck of a user for airway management is disclosed, which comprises a top surface including at least one head-receiving portion configured and dimensioned for receiving and supporting a user's head, and at least one recess neck opening for supporting a user's neck when the user's head is received in the head-receiving portion. The apparatus further includes at least one chin support protruding above the top surface and configured for facilitating placing the user in a sniff position when the user's head is received in the head-receiving portion. The chin support can include a top surface segment and a lateral surface segment, where at least a portion of the lateral surface segment of the chin support extends from the top surface segment thereof to the at least one recess neck opening.
Pillow with Separate Interior Compartments
A pillow including a pillow-liner having an upper liner, a lower liner, and at least one middle liner. The upper liner, lower liner, and at least one middle liner are sealed together adjacent peripheral edges thereof to define an open end and at least two internal compartments.
