The present invention is a food plate that has weakening lines near the edge of the plate. The weakening lines define removable areas on the food plate. A person can use the present invention as a traditional food plate to hold a plate of food. He or she also can use the unique features of the present invention. By detaching the removable sections defined by the weakening lines, a user can create recesses on the food plate.
