A method and apparatus for retaining and extinguishing a cannabis cigarette and ash. The device with a body with a hollow cavity defining a first volume configured to extinguish the cannabis cigarette. This first volume tapering from a base to an opposing opening configured so that ash from the extinguished cannabis cigarette travels unidirectionally through the body and into the second end cap. The first end cap removably attachable to the body and a second end cap removably attachable to the opposite end of the body.

A cigarette storage and disposal device that is configured to be releasably secured to a user's belt or similar support element wherein the present invention is operable to provide storage of cigarettes, a lighter and further provide a compartment to receive and store cigarette butts subsequent consumption of a cigarette. Both the top and bottom lids can switch between an open state and a closed state. A dividing plate within the housing divides an inner volume of the housing into an upper compartment and a lower compartment. The dividing plate can be turned between an open state and a closed state. a cigar rest coupled to a top of the housing. A cigar rest is coupled to an inner of the housing in proximity to a periphery of the open top. The cigar rest can flip outside towards a side of the housing.
