Electronic timer
An electronic interval timer in a regular dodecahedron case is described. The timer is set by orienting the timer so that the face with the time desired is uppermost. The timer is free of buttons, switches, and electronic displays. It is sealed for ruggedness and water-resistance, and free of a battery door. Detection of motion, taps, and orientation is via an accelerometer and a processor; it is free of mechanical motion and orientation switches. The timer indicates start and end of set time intervals with speech announcements or tones. Two time intervals may run concurrently by orienting the timer to a second time. The timer may be programmed via an orientation sequence. Taps may be used to request a time remaining announcement or to set volume. Functions include a stopwatch. Shells have seam lines on polyhedral edges and pin-and-socket connections for strength. A molded air-gap provides for pressure equalization while maintaining water resistance.
Slotted timer
A slotted timer teaches time in a simple manner to those having difficulty understanding the concept of time. The timer rotates a shaft which rotates a colored disk attached to the shaft. The initial position of the colored disk is manually set by an operator using a card residing in a slot extending across the top of the timer. The card may illustrate an activity to be completed in a time period set by the operator. Different cards may be used to indicate different activities.
Dual Switched Circuit
The present disclosure reveals a dual switched circuit for turning an electrical device on and off at set intervals of on and set intervals of time so that current is sent to the electrical device for a designated period of time, followed by the interruption of the flow of current to the electrical device for the designated period of time, and so that this pattern can be repeated over and over again.
ELECTRONIC TIMER
An electronic interval timer in a regular dodecahedron case is described. The timer is set by orienting the timer so that a face with a time desired is face up. The timer is free of buttons, switches, and electronic displays. It is sealed for ruggedness and water-resistance, and free of a battery door and any moving parts, except for two speakers on opposing faces. The timer indicates start and end of set time intervals with unique speech announcements or tones. Two time intervals may run concurrently by orienting the timer to a second time while the first is running. A time interval may be selected by rotating to multiple faces where the time interval desired is the sum of the times on the faces. A timer mode may be programmed via an orientation sequence. Taps may be used to request a time remaining announcement or to set volume. Functions include a stopwatch. Waterproofing is achieved by a gap in a speaker shelf that admits air but not water.

Handheld pool game clock apparatus
A handheld pool game clock apparatus suited for timekeeping pool/billiard games is presented. The handheld pool game clock apparatus contains a clock body, at least one display, a processing unit, at least one switch, and a control panel. The at least one display is distributed around the clock body. The processing unit and the at least one switch are connected within the clock body. The control panel is connected adjacent to the clock body. The at least one display, the control panel, and the at least one switch are electronically connected to the processing unit.
DETONATOR
A detonator for use in a detonating system, which detonator includes discriminating and validating arrangements which sense and validate at least one characteristic of at least one parameter produced by at least one of a light, acoustic, vibratory, magnetic or electrical signal event, and an electronic timer which executes a timing interval in response thereto.
Hand washing timer
A hands-free visual timer enables a person to wash his or hands for the duration of time recommended by the Center for Disease Control. Upon activation, the timer displays an annular ring of thirty triangles and a first icon. After five seconds have passed, a second icon is displayed indicating the user should apply soap. After twenty-five seconds, a third icon is displayed indicating the user should rinse. After thirty seconds, the screen goes blank and all the triangles have disappeared. The central display of triangles is illuminated by a liquid crystal display. The icons are illuminated by light emitting diodes.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROL MODULE ALARM WAKE
Methods and systems are provided for scheduling an alarm wake up to self-wake a control module of a vehicle while the vehicle is off to perform requesting features, including diagnostic and non-diagnostic afterrun tasks. In one example, a method may include, during a shutdown event of the control module, querying a plurality of requesting features for alarm wake up times, receiving a plurality of alarm wake up times from the plurality of requesting features, selecting one alarm wake up time from the plurality of alarm wake up times received, and setting a timer for the selected alarm wake up time. When the timer elapses at the selected alarm wake up time, the control module is woken and a request to run is sent to each of the plurality of requesting features.
