ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND COMPUTER-READABLE NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
An electronic device comprises a body and a band being able to attach the body to a part of a human body. The body comprises first and second detectors and at least one processor. The first detector detects illuminance on an upper surface of the body. The second detector is located in a position distant from a position of the first detector in a short-side direction of the band and detects the illuminance on the upper surface of the body. The at least one processor executes predetermined processing if the at least one processor determines that at least one of first illuminance detected by the first detector and second illuminance detected by the second detector changes.

In accordance with embodiments, user interfaces for displaying and enabling an adjustment of a displayed time zone are described. In accordance with embodiments, user interfaces for initiating a measurement of time are described. In accordance with embodiments, user interfaces for enabling and displaying a user interface using a character are described. In accordance with embodiments, user interfaces for enabling and displaying a user interface that includes an indication of a current time are described. In accordance with embodiments, user interfaces for enabling configuration of a background for a user interface are described. In accordance with embodiments, user interfaces for enabling configuration of displayed applications on a user interface are described.
Display of a virtual keyboard on a supplemental physical display plane surrounding a primary physical display plane on a wearable mobile device
Display of supplemental content on a smartwatch wearable mobile device. A method establishes, on supplemental physical display plane(s) of a smartwatch wearable mobile device, virtual display plane(s). The smartwatch includes a primary physical display plane and the supplemental physical display plane(s). The supplemental physical display plane(s) at least partially surround the primary physical display plane. The method displays primary content on the primary physical display plane and supplemental content on the virtual display plane(s). The method also receives touch sensor input from a touch sensor of the smartwatch and maps the touch sensor input to interface element(s) of the supplemental content on the virtual display plane(s). The method selects the interface element(s) based on the mapping the touch sensor input to the interface element.
Display Assembly for Wearable Computing Devices
A display assembly includes a three-dimensional display cover defining an internal volume. The three-dimensional display cover includes a central portion and a peripheral portion. The peripheral portion extends around a periphery of the internal volume. The display assembly includes a first display and a second display. The first display is disposed within the internal volume of the three-dimensional display cover and is visible through the central portion of the three-dimensional display cover. The second display is disposed within the internal volume of the three-dimensional display cover and extends around at least a portion of a periphery of the first display. Furthermore, the second display is visible through the peripheral portion of the three-dimensional display cover.
CONNECTED, MECHANICAL WINDING WATCH
An electronic watch comprising a timekeeper logic unit (42) set to control a display (50,54) of the time, and a controller (48), in communication with an external device (90) or with internet (99) through a wireless interface (68) of the watch, and a mechanical energy harvester system (25) set to transform mechanical energy deriving from the movements of a wearer to electrical energy, a power manager circuit for storing the electrical energy in a battery (30) and/or in a capacitor (32), and to supply the logic unit (42), the controller (48) and the wireless interface (68) with energy stored in the battery (30) and/or in the capacitor (32).
DISPLAYING DIRECTIONAL VISUAL INDICATORS FROM A WEARABLE DEVICE FOR NAVIGATION
This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for displaying directional visual indicators external to a wearable device for navigation. In some aspects, a wearable device may receive navigation signals while the wearable device is in a navigation mode. The navigation signals may indicate a direction of travel. The wearable device may display a first directional visual indicator corresponding to the direction of travel. The first directional visual indicator may be displayed external to the wearable device indicating the direction of travel is a first direction. The first directional visual indicator may be a directional light or a directional projection displayed external to the wearable device in the direction of travel. If the direction of travel changes from the first direction to a second direction, the wearable device may display a second directional visual indicator indicating the direction of travel is the second direction.
Gesture recognition on watch bezel using strain gauges
The technology provides for an electronic device with gesture detection. In this regard, the device may include a housing, and one or more sensors positioned along an inner periphery of the housing. The sensors may be adapted to detect user interaction with an outer surface of the housing. The device may further include one or more processors in communication with the plurality of sensors. The one or more processors may be configured to determine the user interaction and to determine a type of gesture based on the detected user interaction, determine a type of input command based on the determined gesture, and execute a task corresponding to the determined type of input command
WEARABLE INFORMATION TERMINAL
A wearable information terminal that can be worn by a user is provided with: a main body; a display that is incorporated in the main body and includes a screen; a controller that is incorporated in the main body and executes display processing onto the screen; and an operation detector that detects input operation executed by the user with respect to the controller.
Smartwatch comprising a visual animation screen
A smartwatch including a first screen cooperating with a first display management device of said smartwatch contributing to broadcasting information pertaining to functions provided by the smartwatch and a second screen that is separate from the first screen cooperating with a second display management device of the smartwatch contributing to broadcasting information concerning all or part of a visual message pertaining to a visual and/or audio animation occurring within an environment wherein the smartwatch is located, the information being transmitted from a display control server controlling the second display management device of the smartwatch.
DYNAMIC USER INTERFACE WITH TIME INDICATOR
The present disclosure generally relates to a dynamic user interface having an indication of time. The dynamic user interface having the indication of time further includes one or more geometric regions that intersect the indication of time, such that colors of the indication of time are different on opposite sides of a boundary of the one or more geometric regions that intersect the indication of time. The one or more geometric regions may shift and/or change over time, thereby providing a custom and/or unique dynamic user interface having the indication of time.
