A drinking container includes: a base; a sidewall extending upwardly from the base, wherein the base and the sidewall define a cavity; and an ice retaining structure in the cavity, the ice retaining structure including a shield member held adjacent an adjacent portion of an inner surface of the sidewall, wherein the shield is connected to and/or abuts the sidewall at two spaced apart connection locations. The ice retaining structure and the sidewall define a single laterally extending gap therebetween, and the ice retaining structure is positioned and configured to retain ice in the cavity and to permit liquid to pass through the gap when the drinking container is tilted relative to vertical.

A beverage containment apparatus includes a cylindrical body, a lid, and a splash guard. The body has one or more walls, a sloping lip at an opening on one end, an interior portion of the body, and a base. In some embodiments, the sloped lip forms a circular arc or a parabolic arc. The lid has a closed end and an open end on an opposite side of the closed end. The open end is configured to detachably couple to the body. The splash guard is configured to detachably couple to the interior portion of the body proximate to the sloping lip. The splash guard includes a plurality of apertures spaced around an outer circumference of the splash guard. In some embodiments, the splash guard includes a center aperture sized to fit a user's finger.

A dish selected from the group consisting of a drinking glass, stemware, beverage cup, mug or bowl having a base with a perimeter, a sidewall contiguous with the perimeter of the base and extending upwardly to a top rim, the top rim being substantially level and continuous except for at least one recessed sidewall section having a top edge recessed to a level lower than the level of the top rim.

A barrier system for a container, includes a fluid permeable solids barrier comprising an outer flange surrounding a central fluid permeable sieve; an upper port located at an interior edge of an upper side of the outer flange, a lower port on an opposite lower side of the outer flange in fluid communication with the upper port by a flow path therebetween, and a fluid permeable sieve located in the flow path between the upper port and the lower port. The system also includes a straw having an upper end configured to fittingly engage the lower port of the fluid permeable solids barrier spout; and a spout having a lower port configured to fittingly engage the upper port of the fluid permeable solids barrier.

A reusable drink protector made of flexible silicone sheet material. The sheet is approximately circular in shape and has a plurality of outwardly extending tabs. Each tab includes a semi adhesive disk. The circular portion of the sheet can close off the top surface of a glass or cup. The tabs can bend down the sides of the cup and be adhered to the cup by the semi adhesive disks. One extension tab has a magnet attached. When the user wants to drink from the cup, he or she folds up the extension tab and attaches the magnet to a metal disk mounted on the circular sheet creating an uncovered space on the edge of the cup for the user to drink from. The drink protector can be rolled up and stored in a tubular container.

A barrier system for a container, includes a fluid permeable solids barrier comprising an outer flange surrounding a central fluid permeable sieve; an upper port located at an interior edge of an upper side of the outer flange, a lower port on an opposite lower side of the outer flange in fluid communication with the upper port by a flow path therebetween, and a fluid permeable sieve located in the flow path between the upper port and the lower port. The system also includes a straw having an upper end configured to fittingly engage the lower port of the fluid permeable solids barrier spout; and a spout having a lower port configured to fittingly engage the upper port of the fluid permeable solids barrier.

A portable beverage container having a lid member attached to a container vessel. The lid member can have a lid wall and a skirt depending from the lid wall and defining a projection space. A drinking opening or a drinking spout is provided with the lid member, which can be covered by a spout cap. An ice guard can be included with the lid member. The ice guard can attach in a bore of the drinking spout or located over an opening to the bore of the drinking spout.

A device for compartmentalizing liquids. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to an overspill-protection compartmentalizing device to be used in conjunction with a liquid container. The container may be a glass, a beaker, a cup or any other device for containing a liquid of any kind. The compartmentalizing device uncoils so as to take up the width of the container in order to divide the liquid present inside the container and to avoid spillages and splashing in the event of shaking caused by a person or an environment. It notably allows persons suffering from tremors to avoid being stigmatized by having a discreet device.

An ice restrainer apparatus including a primary ring member and a secondary ring member. The primary ring member has a fixed diameter and a circular web-like structure including an outer peripheral edge and a plurality of restraining elements within the circular web-like structure. The primary ring member fits inside a beverage container. The primary ring member including a pair of horizontally positioned guiding rails located along the center of a top surface of the primary ring member for receiving the secondary ring member. The secondary ring member having an adjustable diameter and collectively formed by a first semicircle region and a second semicircle region which are interconnected by a diameter adjustment assembly. The secondary ring member having an outer peripheral edge and including an inner circular member and an outer circular web-like member. The inner circular member having the diameter adjustment assembly positioned horizontally along the center of the inner circular member. The diameter adjustment assembly including a pair of adjusting handles which are attached to corresponding adjusting handle base members, which are positioned at opposite ends of the inner circular member and including a spring mechanism positioned between the pair of adjusting handles and adjusting handle base members, the outer circular web-like member having a plurality of restraining elements thereon, and wherein the diameter of the secondary ring member is adjustable such that the outer peripheral edge of the secondary ring member exceeds the outer peripheral edge of the primary ring member to allow the ice restrainer apparatus to fit in beverage containers having a larger diameter than the primary ring member.

A cup lid may comprise a main body having a cup edge at an outer periphery thereof. An upper surface of the main body has a cover comprising a concave upper surface, and a first end and a second end are respectively formed at two opposed edges of the concave upper surface at corresponding positions. A concave sip portion formed adjacent to the first end, and a plane surface is formed at a bottom portion of the sip portion. A flippable sealing member extends from the plane surface, and a sip-through opening is formed overlapped with the sealing member. A month-contact portion is formed adjacent to the first end, and a height difference formed between the month-contact portion and the sip-through opening is configured to prevent the overflow of beverage when drinking.
