A drinking container includes a base and a sidewall extending upwardly from the base. The base and the sidewall define a cavity. The drinking container includes an ice retaining structure in the cavity, with the ice retaining structure including a ring member held adjacent an inner surface of the sidewall. The ring member and the sidewall define at least one laterally extending gap therebetween. The ice retaining structure is positioned and configured to retain ice in the cavity and to permit liquid to pass through the at least one gap when the drinking container is tilted relative to vertical.

A lid assembly for a drinking vessel holding a beverage is disclosed. The lid assembly includes a lid and a slider. The lid comprises a top wall having a port and a vent hole, each configured for communication with the interior of the vessel when the lid assembly is mounted thereon. The slider is mounted on the top wall and is slidable along an axis between a closed state and an open state, and vice versa. In the closed state, the slider seals the port. In the opened state it exposes the port, whereupon a person can drink the beverage through the port. The slider includes a slot extending transversely to the axis and is configured such that any liquid attempting to exit through the vent hole when the slider is in the open state is channeled away from the face of the user as the user drinks the beverage from the port.

The vibrational cup device comprises a base component positioned on a bottom portion of a cup and sealed with O-rings. The base component is removable and comprises a rechargeable battery, a micro circuit board, a vibrational motor, a USB port with plug, and a motion sensor that tells the device when the cup is at a 45-to-60-degree angle. At these angles, the vibrational motor would engage for approximately 10 seconds to help break up the ice in the cup or to level out the ice to prevent the sudden release of ice cubes, thus spilling part of the drink.
