OBJECT PROVIDED WITH AN ELECTRO-OPTIC DISPLAY DEVICE
An object includes an electro-optic display device provided with an optically active element, the optical properties thereof can be modified by applying an electric voltage or current between at least one electrode and one corresponding auxiliary electrode, between which the optically active element is disposed. The object further includes a middle part which delimits an opening closed by a crystal including a bottom surface beneath which the electro-optic display device is arranged. The crystal is provided with an opaque frame which is made remotely from the edges of the opening and which covers the contour of the electro-optic display device so as to conceal electrical connection elements. The electro-optic display device defines an active display area which is confined by the opaque frame, such that, when the electro-optic display device is activated and displaying information, a transparent area remains between the opaque frame and the edges of the opening.
WATCH BAND WITH FIT DETECTION
Characteristics of a watch band can change when placed in different configurations, and each of these characteristics can be correlated with each of the various configurations. The characteristics can be measured to detect in which of the various configurations the watch band is in. For example, the watch band can include an adjustable capacitor that changes it capacitance when the watch band changes its configuration. For example, the capacitance can change based on stretching of the watch band, bending of the watch band, and/or securement and release of an engagement element. The watch or another device can perform one or more operations based on the detected characteristic and configuration of the watch band.
WEARABLE DEVICES FOR SENSING NEUROMUSCULAR SIGNALS USING A SMALL NUMBER OF SENSOR PAIRS, AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE WEARABLE DEVICES
Wearable devices for sensing neuromuscular signals using a small number of sensor pairs are disclosed. One example wrist-wearable device includes eight pairs of neuromuscular-signal sensors. Each pair of neuromuscular-signal sensors is positioned over a portion of a wrist of a user while the wrist-wearable device is worn by the user. Each pair of neuromuscular-signal sensors further includes a first and second electrodes configured to be used as a differential sensor of neuromuscular signals travelling through the wrist of the user, and electrical signal-processing circuitry configured to amplify and filter neuromuscular signals received from the first and second electrodes to produce processed neuromuscular signals. The wrist-wearable device also includes a shared ground electrode configured to ground both the first and second electrodes. The processed neuromuscular signals are provided to one or more processors that are configured to analyze the processed neuromuscular signals to detect one or more gestures.
Conductive PVD stack-up design to improve reliability of deposited electrodes
An electronic device can include a housing component that can define an interior surface and an exterior surface of the device, a metallic film deposited on the interior surface and extending at least partially onto the exterior surface, and a ceramic film deposited on the exterior surface and at least partially over a portion of the metallic film on the exterior surface. The ceramic film can be in electrical communication with a portion of the metallic film deposited on the interior surface to form an electrical pathway from the exterior surface to the interior surface.
INTELLIGENT WEARABLE PRODUCT
An intelligent wearable product is provided which includes a housing, a power supply circuit, a functional component, and an electrochromic film. A transparent portion is disposed on the housing, and the functional component and the power supply circuit are located inside the housing. The functional component is configured to collect an external parameter by using the transparent portion. The electrochromic film is disposed on an inner surface of the housing and shields the transparent portion. The power supply circuit is configured to supply power to the electrochromic film and the functional component, so that the electrochromic film is transparent when the functional component works. When the intelligent wearable product is not worn on a human body, the electrochromic film and the housing jointly present an integrated visual effect. According to the application, quality, competitiveness and appearance experience of the intelligent wearable product are improved.

An electronic watch includes a case, a hand, a dial, a drive mechanism for driving the hand, a main plate to which the drive mechanism is attached, an antenna disposed between the dial and the main plate in side view when viewed from a direction parallel to a front surface of the dial, and a printed wired board, where the antenna includes a radiation electrode having a plate shape, a ground electrode having a plate shape, and a dielectric disposed between the radiation electrode and the ground electrode in the side view, the printed wired board is conducted to the radiation electrode via a power feed member, and the radiation electrode includes a portion that protrudes closer to the outside than the main plate in plan view when viewed from a direction orthogonal to the front surface of the dial.
