The disclosed wearable devices may include a wearable body sized and configured to be worn on a user's body part and at least one electronic component within the wearable body. The wearable body may include a flexible material for wrapping at least partially around the user's body part. The at least one electronic component may be overmolded within the flexible material of the wearable body. Various other methods, systems, and devices are also disclosed.

A wearable device is disclosed. The wearable device includes: a wearable assembly and a display device detachably mounted on the wearable assembly, and the display device includes: a first body having a connecting end; a second body, which is rotatably connected to the connecting end of the first body, and can be folded inwardly toward the first body to overlap with the first body, or folded outwards away from the first body to unfold relative to each other; and, a flexible display device, which is covered on the first body and the second body, and can be folded inward or unfolded outward correspondingly with mutual rotation between the first body and the second body.

Embodiments relate to an external user interface that has a physical form intended to be hand held. This invention is a smart watch with variable-configuration displays which combine to provide a larger combined display when needed. When a person does not need a large display area, then a plurality of displays on the watch fit around the person's wrist and/or arm in a relatively compact first configuration. When the person needs a larger display area, then the plurality of displays are moved into a second configuration which creates a large, coplanar, combined display.

An exterior member that is favorably manufactured, a case having the exterior member and a timepiece having the case are provided. Wearable electronic devices, such as watches, can be part of a modular system that provides a variety of different components and functions to achieve the results that are desired by a user. The modular configurations allow a user to easily customize a watch with one or more functional modules to provide features that integrate with other operations of the body of the watch. The functional modules can be easily exchanged with each other to provide different components and functions at different times. Accordingly, a watch body need not include permanent components that provide every function that will later be desired by the user. Instead, the watch can have expanded and customizable capabilities by the use of one or more functional modules.
