DRINKING VESSEL COMPRISING A COMPENSATING BODY
A drinking vessel has a drink container with a body that compensates for changes in the liquid level in the drink container. The compensating body includes an elastic component which, under the influence of weight forces of a liquid volume, enlarges its shape, i.e. the volume of the compensating body. When the acting weight forces cease, the compensating body returns to a smaller original shape. There is no need for a sliding-movement-based sealing action of the compensating body in relation to the inner walls of the drink container. Therefore, the user does not have to first put the drink container down in order for the liquid level to stabilize.
ADJUSTABLE DRINKING CUPS
The present invention relates to an adjustable drinking cup that limits the risk of aspiration by retaining a neutral neck position or by permitting a patient to tuck their chin while drinking. The adjustable drinking cup has a continuous wall formed by an exterior and interior surface that extends between a top and bottom end. The continuous wall forms a top and bottom opening. A plunger is received within the bottom opening. During use the patient fills the adjustable drinking cup with a liquid and after a predetermined amount of liquid is consumed the plunger is pressed upwards to raise the liquid to a predetermined position near the top opening. This is repeated each time a predetermined amount of liquid is consumed.
Sealed cup with electro-mechanical lid
A sealed cup with an electro-mechanical lid is implemented, which is configured to reduce the amount of exposure the lid and liquid reservoir have to the user's hands, and thereby germs. The cup includes a lower container inside which liquid (e.g., coffee, tea, soda, alcohol, etc.) can be poured for future consumption by the user. The cup includes an upper container that secures to the lower container, such as through corresponding threads that engage responsive to user turning. The upper container stores various electro-mechanical components, including a PCB (printed circuit board), processor, memory, motor, and gears, to enable opening and closing of the lid responsive to user input. The electro-mechanical components are protected via some internal housing components that prevent the liquid in the lower container from coming into contact with those components.
NO-SPILL DRINKING CONTAINER
A liquid container lid assembly includes a straw having an internal one-way valve and a grommet seal for sealing against the straw. As a result, the disclosed liquid container lid assembly allows a consumer (such as a child) to drink from the straw while preventing accidental spillage without the need for the child to manipulate any part of the lid assembly (such as a lock or valve release). In other words, the liquid container lid assembly is always in a no-spill configuration while simultaneously allowing a consumer to drink from the straw.
Portable Beverage Container For Serving And Entertaining Children
A portable beverage container includes a container base adapted to store a liquid, a lid removably coupled to the base, a design element support structure, and a design element. The design element support structure is removably coupled to the lid to allow an end user of the portable beverage container to drink the liquid stored in the container base. The design element support structure is arranged in a fluid aperture defined by the lid such that a first portion of the design element support structure is arranged in the container base and a second portion of the drinking element is arranged outside of the container base. The design element is adapted to movably travel on the first portion of the design element support structure and is configured to float on the liquid stored in the container base.
LID WITH RETRACTABLE STRAW
A lid with a retractable straw for a cup or other fluid container is disclosed. The device includes a body including a cavity that extends from a bottom surface of the body to an upper surface of the body and a lid positionable between a closed position in which the lid lays on an upper surface of the body and an open position in which the lid is displaced from the upper surface of the body. The device also includes a tube, a straw and a mouthpiece. The mouthpiece coupled to the body and in fluid communication with the tube, the mouthpiece being positionable between a closed position in which the mouthpiece crimps the tube to the bottom surface of the body and an open position in which the tube couples the mouthpiece in fluid communication with the straw.
CONTAINER AND WITHDRAWAL SYSTEM
An access and/or withdrawal system. The withdrawal system may be used with a container system having an access portal is disclosed. The withdrawal system may be selectively adjustable. The withdrawal system may include a filter member.
APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR DRINKABLE BOTTLE CAP
An apparatus and system are described for a drinkable cap and a drinkable cap system. The disclosed embodiments describe, amongst other things, for example, a drinkable cap that may be removably secured to a drinking vessel. The cap may be configured such that a user doesn't need to touch their lips or mouth to the cap in order to drink.
Thermal receptacle with phase change material
A phase change apparatus has a generally tubular housing with an open upper and lower end and a sidewall having inner and outer surfaces with a chamber defined therein. At least one of the surfaces is convoluted, and a phase change material is disposed in the chamber. The upper end of the generally tubular housing engaged the upper end of an insulated cup. At least one passage is defined between the inner and outer surfaces of the generally tubular housing to allow the flow of liquid when the cup is tilted. The phase change material disposed in the chamber absorbs thermal energy from the liquid and then releases the thermal energy back to the liquid to maintain the temperature of the liquid.
