Tool Changer
A tool changer includes a holding member having a tool change arm disposed thereon, a rotation mechanism rotating the holding member at a first rotation speed in normal and reverse directions, a forward/backward movement mechanism moving the holding member forward and backward at a first forward/backward movement speed, and a controller comparing a first difference as a difference between a command value for the rotation and an output value of an encoder with a first threshold. When the first difference is equal to or greater than the first threshold, a rotational speed of the holding member is chained to a second rotation speed slower than the first rotation speed. Alternatively, when the first difference is less than the first threshold, the rotational speed of the holding member is maintained at the first rotation speed.
Apparatus for determining axes for the computer assisted setup of a machine tool table
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium has instructions executed by a processor to compute an x-axis axial position based upon a first host border measurement signal, a second host border measurement signal, first x-axis axial measurement signals and second x-axis axial measurement signals. A y-axis axial position is computed based upon the first host border measurement signal, the second host border measurement signal, first y-axis axial measurement signals and second y-axis axial measurement signals. A z-axis axial position is computed based upon the first host border measurement signal, the second host border measurement signal, first z-axis axial measurement signals and second z-axis axial measurement signals. The operation of a computer numerical control milling machine is coordinated based upon the x-axis axial position, the y-axis axial position and the z-axis axial position.
NUMERICAL CONTROL DEVICE
A numerical control device is a numerical control device that controls a machine tool including a plurality of axes, and includes a reading unit that reads a machining program for machining a workpiece, and when the machining program read by the reading unit is a machining program for simultaneously operating five or more axes of the plurality of axes, controls operation of the five or more axes to be simultaneously operated in the machining program by dividing the operation into a plurality of sets of operation of four or less axes.
NUMERICAL CONTROL DEVICE
A numerical control device that controls a servomotor on the basis of a machining program. The machining program determines whether or not to perform correction on reversal of a moving direction of a mechanical system driven in a movement axis direction by the servomotor. This is done on the basis of the machining program including an instruction that causes the reversal of the moving direction of the mechanical system and another instruction to be executed later than the instruction.
STATISTICAL FRAMEWORK FOR TOOL CHAMBER MATCHING IN SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
Detecting mismatches among a plurality of manufacturing tools of the same type and operating on a first semiconductor wafer. A server receives metrological data and time series data applicable to the first semiconductor wafer from each of the plurality of manufacturing tools. The server applies a plurality of statistical tests to the metrological data and a data mining technique to the time series data. The server assigns a score to each result from applying the plurality of statistical test and the data mining technique to the plurality of manufacturing tools, the scores indicating a degree of mismatch among the plurality of manufacturing tools. Responsive to the sum of scores exceeding a predetermined threshold, the server declares a mismatch condition for each tool among the plurality of manufacturing tools.
MACHINING TIME CALCULATING APPARATUS AND MACHINING TIME CALCULATING METHOD
A machining time calculating apparatus calculates operation schedule information indicating the operation time of each of a plurality of systems that is included in a machine tool and can be controlled independently of one another. The machining time calculating apparatus includes a system cycle time calculation unit. On the basis of wait commands among the plurality of systems described in a machining program (PG) for the machine tool, the system cycle time calculation unit calculates the operation schedule information in which the operation start times of blocks in the machining program of each of the systems are adjusted while maintaining wait timings among the plurality of systems.
CONTROL DEVICE, MACHINE TOOL, AND CONTROL METHOD
A control device of a machine tool comprising a table that supports an object to be machined, a main shaft on which a tool is mounted, and a mist collector that collects mist comprises: an acquisition unit that acquires at least one piece of information from among a machining load, a relative movement speed of the main shaft in relation to the table, and a rotational speed of the main shaft; a startup determination unit that determines whether to start the mist collector on the basis of the at least one piece of acquired information; and a collector control unit that automatically controls the mist collector on the basis of the determination details.
