CONTROL AND OPERATION OF DEICING SYSTEM
A method of operating a deicing system remotely, including connecting a control for the deicing system with the deicing system. When the control and the deicing system are connected, the method includes providing functionality for controlling operation of the deicing system, including control of application rates, and managing workflow and operation including job tracking.
Selecting Antenna Patterns On Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
Described herein are unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and systems and methods for dynamically selecting directional antennas onboard the UAV for wireless transmissions. For example, an embodiment pertains to a UAV that comprises a flight control system in remote communication with a remote receiver via directional antennas onboard the UAV. The flight control system is operatively coupled with a propulsion system to control the flight of the UAV. While in-flight, the flight control system is configured to determine an orientation and position of the UAV. It is further configured to select a subset of directional antennas to transmit from based on the determined orientation and position, among other factors. The flight control system then directs a transmitter to send wireless communications using the selected directional antennas.
Frame, undercarriage and radio-controlled vehicle
A radio-controlled vehicle having a frame, a left undercarriage and a right undercarriage; wherein the frame has a front guide and a rear guide, each configured to house a respective cylinder; each undercarriage having a front slide and a rear slide, which are connected in a sliding manner to the front guide and to the rear guide, respectively; wherein each cylinder is configured to selectively vary the distance between the longitudinal axis of the frame and the longitudinal axis of each undercarriage; wherein each undercarriage comprises an anti-derailment plate.
Method performed in an autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle for enabling autonomous emergency assistance for a communication device registered in a regular cellular network, vehicle and device therefore
A method for enabling autonomous emergency assistance for one or more communication device, CD, registered in a regular cellular network. The method is performed in an autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle, UAV, and comprises emulating a cellular network in a geographical region, wherein the UAV and the one or more CD are without connectivity with the regular cellular network, sending an information message in the geographical region, the message comprising an emergency response trigger, receiving an automatic emergency data response from the one or more CD in the geographical region, in response to the sent message, and determining an action based on the received automatic emergency data response. A CD, a UAV, a computer program and a computer program product are also presented.
Fleet vehicle feature activation
A system including a processor and memory may provide for automatically activating or deactivating a feature of a fleet vehicle. For example, one or more fleet vehicles may include one or more of a global-positioning system, a speed governor, electronically-controlled brakes, an electronically-controlled accelerator, a speed limiter, or an on-board computer with a processor and memory. One or more features may be activated by a local or remote computing device or system. For example, a system may determine one or more recommended routes between two or more locations. The system may track a fleet vehicle's progress along a route, and activate a feature of the fleet vehicle based on the fleet vehicle following or not following the recommended route. For example, the system may cause activation of a speed limiter on the fleet vehicle, disable the fleet vehicle, and/or activate or deactivate autonomous features of the fleet vehicle.
System used for improving automatic control of machine operations of construction site machinery
A system is configured for confirming a mobile cooperative target being automatically tracked and measured by a total station or theodolite in order to automatically control a machine operation of a construction site machine. The system includes at least one total station or theodolite with a UWBST anchor-module having an anchor-ID, and a cooperative target associated with a UWBST tag-module having a tag-identifier (tag-ID) and being used for automatically controlling a machine operation of the construction site machine. The system can include a machine control unit associated with the construction site machine configured for controlling machine operations based on tracking and continuously measuring cooperative targets carried out by the total station or theodolite, and an ultra-wide band (UWB) distance meter associated with the UWBST anchor-module configured for measuring a distance (UWB-distance) between the UWBST anchor-module and the UWBST tag-module.
Work vehicle, control device, and method for controlling work vehicle
A work vehicle includes: an imaging device that captures an image in which a work target is shown; an image transmission unit that transmits the image captured by the imaging device to a control device; an operation signal reception unit that receives an operation signal from the control device; and an operation control unit that limits the operation signal according to a transmission status of the image.
