Pressure Reducing Valve and A Pressure Reducing System
A pressure reducing valve and a pressure reducing system are provided. The pressure reducing valve includes a main valve body in which a valve chamber is formed; the main valve body is provided with a valve outlet and a valve inlet communicating with the valve chamber; and at least two pressure reducing devices adapted between the valve inlet and the valve outlet to depressurize the fluid at the valve inlet and discharge to the valve outlet. The pressure reducing valve occupies a small space, low cost and low pressure leakage point. Each pressure reducing device shares a main valve body, independent of each other, do not interfere with each other, and can be flexible to switch or use at the same time. The pressure reducing system is provided with at least one regulating member, which comprising an adjustment medium outlet section which communicates with the valve chamber through the valve body and the valve seat. Through the regulating member to reduce erosion and wear caused by the cavitation effect, and adjust the fluid flow flexibly.
Pressure regulator
A system including a pressure regulator configured to regulate a flow of pressurized fluid in a hydrocarbon extraction system, the pressure regulator, including a housing having a chamber, a biasing system configured to provide a biasing force, a sensing piston disposed within the chamber, wherein the sensing piston is responsive to pressure within the chamber and the biasing force from the biasing system, and a supply seal plate comprising a first fluid supply passageway configured to reduce oscillations of the sensing piston.
Multi-function three-stage pressure regulator
An integrated pressure regulator is provided with three stages configured to reduce an extreme tank pressure down to a typical working pressure. The regulator is configured to supply a steady working pressure until the tank pressure is reduced to little more than the working pressure itself. Stages of the pressure regulator are integrated into a body and arranged to minimize regulator mass and volume. A thermally-triggered pressure relief device may be included with a triggering time adapted to enhance the safety of smaller cylinders that may be used, e.g., in aerial applications.
PRESSURE MODULATOR
An apparatus and associated method, for controlling signal passage, includes a first passageway for a first fluid, a second passageway for a second fluid, and an interposed chamber. A first, movable diaphragm at a first chamber junction and a second, movable diaphragm at a second chamber junction, with a third fluid bound there between and interposed between the first and second passageways. A device varies a volume of the third fluid bound between the diaphragms and thus moves the diaphragms. A movable member and a reservoir of the device are configured such that the movable member is sufficiently movable to increase the volume of the reservoir to remove a sufficient portion of the third fluid bound between the first and second diaphragms from the chamber to cause the first and second diaphragms to be pressed against the first and second walls, respectively.
Fluidic components suitable for fuel cell systems including pressure regulators and valves
The disclosure teaches controlling the fluid flow and pressure, including adjustable pressure regulators, pressure regulators with an inlet restrictor, semi-automatic valve and pressure regulator with a by-pass valve which use one or more of movable shuttle, shuttle housing, a high pressure diaphragm, a low pressure diaphragm and a fluidic conduit connecting the inlet to the outlet. One or more of these implementations adjust to modify the outlet pressure of the regulator. The inlet restrictor allows incoming fluid to enter the pressure regulators when the pressure of the incoming fluid is higher than a threshold level. The semi-automatic valve is opened manually but closes automatically when fluid flowing through the valve is insufficient to keep the valve open. The semi-automatic valve can also be a semi-automatic electrical switch. The by-pass valve directs the flow to bypass the pressure regulator, when the flow is slow or has low pressure.
Pressure modulator
An apparatus, for controlling signal passage, includes a first passageway for a first fluid, a second passageway for a second fluid, and an interposed chamber. A first, movable diaphragm at a first chamber junction and a second, movable diaphragm at a second chamber junction, with a third fluid bound there between and interposed between the first and second passageways. A device varies a volume of the third fluid bound between the diaphragms and thus moves the diaphragms. The diaphragms each have at least one position that permits passage of a pressure signal between the first fluid in the first passageway and the second fluid in the second passageway through the third fluid bound between the diaphragms. The diaphragms each have at least one position that prohibits passage of a pressure signal.
Double port pressure regulator with floating seat
A double port regulator assembly includes a first fluid port and a second fluid port. A fixed valve seat assembly is disposed proximate the first fluid port and a floating valve seat assembly is disposed proximate the second fluid port. A first valve plug cooperates with the fixed valve seat assembly to open and close the first fluid port and a second valve lug cooperates with the floating valve seat assembly to open and close the second fluid port. The floating valve seat assembly includes a floating valve seat that is movable with respect to the fixed valve seat.
Pressure regulation mechanism for downhole well tools
Systems, methods, and apparatus for regulating pressure within a well tool. In some aspects, the well tool may include a cylinder, a setting chamber, and a first flow metering device and a second flow metering device installed in the cylinder. The first flow metering device having a first pressure threshold and the second flow metering device having a second pressure threshold may be configured to regulate an internal chamber pressure inside the setting chamber to reduce a collapse pressure or a pressure differential at the cylinder. The first flow metering device may be configured to allow an external pressure greater than a first pressure threshold to enter the setting chamber during a hydrocarbon recovery operation, and the second flow metering device may be configured to allow the internal chamber pressure greater than a second pressure threshold to exit the setting chamber after the hydrocarbon recovery operation.
