Recirculation valve

A recirculation valve for a pump having a regulator spool, a first resilient biasing member and a control valve. The first resilient biasing member biases the regulator spool in a first position in which flow of a liquid from a first port of the pump to a second port of the pump is prevented. The control valve controls the force required to move the regulator spool against the first resilient biasing member to a second position in which flow of the liquid from the first port to the second port is enabled.

A flow modulator generates energy concomitantly with pressure drop in a flowing fluid. The flow modulator may include a pipe section have a peripheral wall forming a bore and flanges on either end, a flow control disposed on the pipe section, the flow control comprising a first part and a second part, the first part disposed in the bore and the second part coupled with the peripheral wall to remain stationary relative to the first part. In one implementation, the first part generates a field to stimulate the second part to generate an electrical signal.

Relay Valve and Force Balancing Method

A relay valve configured according to the various embodiments as described herein advantageously provides consistent, reliable start point pressures for both supply and exhaust functionalities. To achieve this, the relay valves described herein utilize a plurality of diaphragms to neutralize any variable forces due to pressure in an actuator and, optionally, a supply connected to the relay valve.

Non-inert gas certified electronic controller

An electro-pneumatic controller adapted to use a non-inert fluid as a control fluid includes a base portion and a cap portion removeably secured to the base portion. A non-intrinsically-safe process may be disposed within an interior of the cap portion. A plurality of passageways may be disposed through the base portion. The electro-pneumatic controller may also include a flameproof barrier assembly which may include a plurality of flameproof joints each disposed within desired portion of the plurality of passageways. The plurality of flameproof joints cooperate to at least partially define a first zone, the flameproof joints adapted to prevent or to limit the spread of an open fire or explosion that might occur due to the ignition of the non-inert control fluid.

Precision in proportional operation of pinch valves along an application-specific path of opening and/or of closing is provided in proportionally controlled pinch valves, systems and methods. Included is the advantageous feature that pinch valves and pinch valve controlling systems and methods can be enhanced by carefully controlling not only two primary operational positionseither fully open or fully closedbut also in-between positions as are required for an application of a user of the pinch valve. The effect on the fluid flowing through tubing that is engaged by the pinch valve head between fully open and fully closed is considered, determined and used to achieve pinch valve operation that is linear in flow change and/or linear in pressure change along the closing path and/or opening path through the tubing. The pinch valves can include a normally closed port that opens when the system experiences a shut-down condition.

VALVE

A valve (1) having a valve housing (2) with at least one supply connection (P), a working connection (A) and an outlet opening (T), as well as a valve piston (3) that is arranged and able to move axially within the valve housing (2). The outlet opening (T) provided in the valve housing (2) has at least first and second control edges (4, 5).

Electropneumatic parking-brake valve unit

An electropneumatic parking-brake valve unit for an electronically controlled pneumatic brake system has a first supply connection to a compressed air source. A spring brake connection connects to a spring brake cylinder of a vehicle. A parking-brake valve arrangement has a bistable valve switchable between switching states wherein a spring brake pressure can be controllable in dependence upon the switching state. A pneumatically switchable holding valve has a holding-valve connection for a first control pressure and the holding valve is connected between the first supply connection and the bistable valve. The holding valve is under a spring load into a first switching position wherein the bistable valve is connected to a deaerator. The bistable valve switches into a second switching position when the first control pressure exceeds a first threshold value. The bistable valve is connected to the first supply connection.

UNIVERSAL EXTERNAL ISOLATION AND B&B VALVE SKID FOR INDUSTRIAL GAS APPLIANCES

A system includes a pre-assembled, modular valve assembly configured to be coupled to both an industrial gas appliance and a fuel supply system for the industrial gas appliance. The system includes a manual isolation valve, a first block valve, and a bleed valve. The modular valve assembly is configured to be disposed at a location separate from the industrial gas appliance.

Electronic controller with integral vent valve

An electronic regulator includes an inlet valve coupled to an inlet port, the inlet port configured to receive a supply pressure, and an exhaust valve coupled to an exhaust port, the exhaust port configured to release a pilot pressure when the exhaust valve is open. The electronic regulator also includes a pilot pressure output pneumatically coupled to the inlet valve and exhaust valve and configured to be coupled to an external process control device to provide the pilot pressure to the external process control device. A setpoint input coupled to both the inlet valve and the exhaust valve receives a setpoint signal indicative of a setpoint value, and the electronic regulator operates the inlet valve and the exhaust valve to control the pilot pressure according to the setpoint value. Further, the electronic regulator includes a vent valve coupled to a venting port and pneumatically coupled to the pilot pressure output. The venting port is configured to release the pilot pressure according to the safety control signal.
