A reduction instruction receiver receives a reduction instruction for energy from a server. An energy setter sets, when the reduction instruction receiver receives the reduction instruction, individual target energies for the respective subsystems, the individual target energies each being a target value of a consumption energy for a corresponding subsystem such that (i) a total of individual target energies that are target values of consumption energies for the respective subsystems is smaller than a total target energy that is a target value of a consumption energy of an entirety of the subsystems, and (ii) a higher correlation among consumption energies of the respective subsystems provides an increase in a total margin energy, the total margin energy being a difference between the total target energy and the sum of the individual target energies. The control-instruction transmitter transmits control-instruction information for control of the facility device based on the set individual target energies.

Electronic component handling device and electronic component testing apparatus

An electronic component handling apparatus for handling a DUT and pressing the DUT against a socket electrically connected to a tester, including: a temperature adjuster adjusting a temperature of the DUT; a first calculator calculating the temperature of the DUT on the basis of a detection result of a temperature detection circuit disposed in the DUT; a temperature controller controlling the temperature adjuster; and a first controller outputting a first signal to the temperature controller. A temperature control includes a first temperature control based on the temperature of the DUT calculated by the first calculator and a second temperature control, and when the first signal is input from the first controller to the temperature controller after the temperature controller starts the first temperature control, the temperature controller switches the temperature control from the first temperature control to the second temperature control.

Controlling heat capability of appliance according to user proximity and notifying remote users via internet for increased safety

A stove controller starts an unattended timer when a cooking process is started. The controller monitors whether motion is detected in the kitchen prior to the unattended timer expiring and resets the unattended timer each time motion is detected. If the unattended timer expires without any motion being detected, the controller disables the heating elements of the stove and starts a return timer. The controller monitors whether motion is detected in the kitchen prior to the return timer expiring. When motion is detected, the controller automatically re-enables the heating elements of the stove so that cooking can continue. If motion is not detected and the return timer expires, the controller locks the stove until a reset procedure is performed. Alerts of the stove activity are sent to external devices over the Internet, and the reset procedure may be performed on the controller or on one of the external devices.

A controller for a solid oxide electrolyzer cell (SOEC) system, the controller being configured to receive a target operating temperature, receive a readback temperature value, and output a temperature setpoint command to each of a plurality of heaters.

Method for controlling temperature of terminal, and terminal

Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for controlling temperature of a terminal, including: receiving, by the terminal, an instruction for triggering execution of a first task; obtaining, by the terminal, a current temperature of the terminal; and controlling, by the terminal, an execution manner of the first task based on the current temperature, to control temperature of the terminal. When the terminal obtains the current temperature of the terminal, the terminal may control, based on the current temperature of the terminal, the first task to be executed in different manners, so as to control temperature of the terminal and ensure that the mobile phone is in a safe state.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HEATING BATTERY IN VEHICLE USING BIG DATA

A system for heating a battery in a vehicle supplying driving power by a motor as a vehicle-driving source is provided. The system includes a big-data server configured to receive driving information of the vehicle and to determine an estimated driving start time of the vehicle and required output required at an initial driving stage of the vehicle based on the received driving information, and a controller, installed in the vehicle and configured to provide the driving information to the big-data server, to receive the estimated driving start time and the required output provided from the big-data server, and to derive a heating time of the battery, required to ensure the required output, based on the a temperature and an SoC of the battery installed in the vehicle.

Heater control system

A heater control system is disclosed. In an embodiment, the heater control system includes a fluid heater that includes a heating element. The heating element controlled by a switch. The heater control system also includes a controller that can operate the switch. The controller is configured to determine whether a temperature associated with the fluid heater is below a predetermined temperature threshold. The controller causes the switch to transition to an operational state when the temperature is below the predetermined temperature threshold allowing current to flow through the at least one heating element.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for brewing a beverage

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for brewing a desired portion of a beverage, such as a single-cup portion of coffee, are provided. The system can include one or more hopper assemblies configured to provide a controlled dose of beverage material to a brew chamber. The system can also include a water input system configured to wet the ground beverage material as the grinds enter the brew chamber and substantially prevent steam from reaching grinder components of the system. Further, the system can include an automatic cleaning mechanism such that a user does not need to manually clean components of a brewing machine between brew cycles.

Systems and methods of creating certain water conditions in swimming pools or spas

“Just in time” operational techniques allow equipment of swimming pools or spas to achieve identified water temperatures at specified times. A user may supply information such as a desired water temperature (i.e. a temperature set point) and a time at which the water is desired to be at the desired temperature. After receiving the user-supplied information, software may account as well for certain environmental conditions to devise a suitable schedule for controlling heating of the water of the swimming pool or spa. Adjustments may be made to the schedule based on then-current water temperatures or other changed conditions.
