Disclosed are an apparatus for cleaning a pool and a method for controlling the apparatus. The method includes rotating the apparatus by a first angle in response to an arrival of the apparatus at a corner formed by edges of walls of a pool, determining a plurality of distances between the apparatus and the edges of the walls in front of the apparatus during rotating by the first angle, determining a second angle based on the plurality of distances, and rotating the apparatus by the second angle.

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for cleaning a pool. The method may include controlling an apparatus for cleaning the pool to move on a water surface of the pool, obtaining, by at least one sensor of the apparatus, information on a distance from the apparatus to a bottom of the pool during a movement of the apparatus on the water surface, and controlling the apparatus to dive from a position on the water surface where the information on the distance is obtained to a bottom area corresponding to the position on the water surface for cleaning in a case where the distance matches a depth of a target flat area in the pool.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a pool robot control method and apparatus, a storage medium, and a pool robot. The method includes: obtaining image information of a target water region captured by a pool robot, where the pool robot operates in the target water region; analyzing the image information to determine an analysis result; and determining a target position of a target object if the analysis result indicates that there is the target object in the target water region, and controlling the pool robot to move to the target position and perform a target operation corresponding to a type of the target object.

The present disclosure provides a positioning method and system for an underwater cleaning robot, an apparatus, and a storage medium, and relates to the field of cleaning robots. The method includes: obtaining position information of the underwater cleaning robot relative to a base station; and determining a position of the underwater cleaning robot based on position information of a positioning sensor connected to the base station and the position information of the underwater cleaning robot relative to the base station. A swimming pool robot is disclosed, the swimming pool robot comprising: a first water inlet located at a bottom of the swimming pool robot, and is used for liquid to flow into the swimming pool robot; the swimming pool robot is configured to be switched from the bottom of the swimming pool to a liquid surface, wherein the first water inlet faces the bottom of the swimming pool when the swimming pool robot is on the bottom of the swimming pool or when the swimming pool robot is at the liquid surface; and when the swimming pool robot is switched from the bottom of the swimming pool to a liquid surface, the swimming pool robot has a state where the swimming pool robot is moving on a sidewall of the swimming pool.

This application discloses a cleaning device control method and a cleaning device. The method comprises: controlling the cleaning device to move to a starting point at which the cleaning device moves along an edge of a target water region; controlling the cleaning device to move along the edge of the target water region from the starting point by at least one round; constructing a target map of the target water region, wherein the target map comprises a map of at least one of a bottom of the target water region or a water surface of the target water region; and performing path planning on the target water region based on the target map and controlling the cleaning device to clean the target water region in a process of moving along a planned path.

This application provides a swimming pool robot, including a robot body, a filter, a control unit, and a moving mechanism. Operating environments of the swimming pool robot at least include a first operating environment and a second operating environment. The moving mechanism at least includes a first moving mechanism configured to drive the swimming pool robot to move in the first operating environment and a second moving mechanism configured to drive the swimming pool robot to move in the second operating environment. The first operating environment is an underwater environment. The second operating environment is a non-underwater environment. The control unit is capable of controlling, based on a current operating environment of the swimming pool robot, a moving mechanism corresponding to the current operating environment of the swimming pool robot to drive the swimming pool robot to move. According to this application, operating efficiency of the robot can be improved.
ROBOT CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS
Embodiments of this application provide a robot control method and apparatus. A first sensor is disposed at a front portion of a swimming pool robot. The first sensor is configured to collect first sensing information in a forward direction of the swimming pool robot. A second sensor is disposed on a left side and/or a right side of the swimming pool robot. The second sensor disposed on the left side is configured to collect second sensing information in a leftward direction of the swimming pool robot. The second sensor disposed on the right side is configured to collect second sensing information in a rightward direction of the swimming pool robot. The method includes: controlling, based on the first sensing information and the second sensing information, the swimming pool robot to move in a target swimming pool.
