PRECISION LANDING SYSTEM
A precision landing system is described for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The system may include one or more anchors configured for placement in proximity to a landing zone, a tag configured for securement to the UAV where the tag wirelessly communicates with at least three or more of the anchors. A controller may be configured to fly the UAV towards a centerline axis defined through a first airspace zone at a first altitude above the landing zone while descending towards the first altitude and then fly the UAV towards the centerline axis defined through a second airspace zone at a second altitude which is below the first altitude while descending towards the second altitude, and finally to fly the UAV towards the centerline axis defined through a third airspace zone at a third altitude which is below the second altitude while descending towards the landing zone.
ATTACHMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An attachment management system comprises a working vehicle, a plurality of attachments, a mobile terminal, and a plurality of communication tags fixed on the attachments to communicate with the mobile terminal through a wireless signal that is compliant with a near field communication standard. The mobile terminal is switchable between a first mode to receive the wireless signals from the communication tags and a second mode to receive the wireless signals from the communication tags and to transmit attachment information. The mobile terminal displays, in the first mode, tag identifiers and a plurality of pieces of attachment information stored in the tag memories of the communication tags, and in the second mode, the tag identifiers and the plurality of pieces of attachment information stored in the tag memories of the communication tags which transmit the wireless signals each having signal intensity equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold.
POINT OF INTEREST FACILITY MARKING MODULES AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USING TIIE SAME
Facility marking modules (FMM) and methods and systems of using the same. A FMM is associated with a point of interest (POI) at a worksite or other facility. The FMM detects a low frequency magnetic field of a vehicle moving within the facility at or near the POI and transmits a response signal to a proximity detection system (PDS) of the vehicle. The response signal can cause an operational alert lo activate, or to slow, stop, or change direction of the vehicle based on traffic restrictions associated with the POI. In some examples, the response signal can be used to generate vehicular traffic data for improving efficiency and/or safety of the facility.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE-STORAGE MEDIUM STORING A PROGRAM, AND VEHICLE SYSTEM
An information processing apparatus including a first system having first acquisition circuitry and first output circuitry and a second system having second acquisition circuitry, third acquisition circuitry, and second output circuitry. The first acquisition circuitry may acquire sensor information regarding an environment of a predetermined mobile object by at least one or more sensors installed in the mobile object. Also, the first output circuitry may output auxiliary information for assisting determination of control information for controlling an action of the mobile object. Further, the second acquisition circuitry may acquire partial sensor information from at least one sensor of the one or more sensors, the third acquisition circuitry may acquire the auxiliary information output by the first output circuitry, and the second output circuitry may output control information, using at least part of the partial sensor information or the auxiliary information.
