SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR ADAPTING A THUMBSTICK OF A CONTROLLER
20230149806 · 2023-05-18 ·

Systems, apparatus, and methods are described for adjusting a thumbstick of a controller, such as adjusting a height and/or other characteristic of the thumbstick. Systems, apparatus, and methods can include one or more of a base element, an adjustment element, and a cap element, which can couple to one another to form an interlocked or stacked configuration that, when coupled to the thumbstick, can adjust the thumbstick of the controller.

Head extension and transport handle system

A patient support apparatus includes a base frame and an upper frame configured to support a mattress. The upper frame has a head portion including a recessed edge. Lift arms are coupled to the upper frame and configured to adjust a position of the upper frame. A first handle is coupled to the head portion on a first side of the recessed edge. A second handle is coupled to the head portion on a second side of the recessed edge. The first and second handles are configured to pivot inboard and toward one another to a lowered position extending over the upper frame adjacent to the recessed edge. An intravenous pole is pivotally coupled to the head portion and is adjustable between a deployed position and a stowed position. The intravenous pole extends along a rear wall of the recessed edge over the upper frame when in the stowed position.

INTERLOCKING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR JOYSTICKS IN A CATHETER PROCEDURE SYSTEM

An interlocking system for a joystick in a catheter procedure system includes a joystick configured to generate a first voltage output signal based on a linear activation of the joystick and a second voltage output signal based on a rotational activation of the joystick. A joystick cover is disposed over the joystick and includes an upper portion having an electrode plating on an inner surface of the upper portion and a lower portion having an inner surface. A capacitive touch detection circuit is coupled to the electrode plating of the upper portion of the joystick cover and is mounted on the inner surface of the lower portion of the joystick cover. The capacitive touch detection circuit is configured to detect a proximal change in capacitance in the electrode plating of the upper portion of the joystick cover and to generate a touch output signal to indicate whether a change in capacitance has been detected. A signal enable circuit is coupled to the joystick and the capacitive touch detection circuit and is configured to generate a linear enable voltage output signal and a rotational enable voltage output signal based on whether a change in capacitance has been detected.

Pointing device

An improved handle cover apparatus is a handle cover and extension that attaches to the hand brake handle of a wheel chair to provide padding, improved comfort, and greater leverage to allow the brake to be applied more easily and to eliminate the arthritic pain associated with operating the current, short, wheel chair brake handles.

Switch device

A switch device includes a switch body, which is arranged at the back side of a steering unit, and a lever unit, which is attached to the switch body to allow for switching by a pivotal operation about a first axis, which extends in the axial direction of a steering shaft. The lever unit includes a lever shaft, which extends in a direction intersecting the first axis of the pivotal operation, a lever head, which is arranged at the distal end of the lever shaft and has a larger dimension than the diameter of the lever shaft, and a push operation unit, which allows for switching by a push operation. The push operation unit is arranged so that the operation direction of the push operation is directed toward the first axis.

Control lever device of industrial vehicle

A control lever device of an industrial vehicle includes a control lever that is tiltable forward and rearward relative to a vehicle body of the industrial vehicle and that includes a control knob, a switch button that is provided on the control knob and adapted to be pushable while the control lever is operated. The switch button has a movement axis indicating a movable direction of the switch button. The movement axis is inclined forward relative to a direction orthogonal to an extending direction of the control knob so that a pushing direction of the switch button is directed rearward from the direction orthogonal to the extending direction of the control knob.

A gear lever for motor vehicles is provided, of the type including a lever body, a grip, a block and a rod. The lever body defines a main axis and is configured for being associated to a gearshift device of a motor vehicle. The block is arranged to be displaced between an operative position and an inoperative position, respectively, for blocking and releasing the lever in or from a given gearshift position. The rod is slidably mounted within the lever body, and connected to which is said lever block, and which is arranged to be governed via a control member positioned on the lever body or on the grip for shifting the block from the operative position to the inoperative position. The lever is also height-adjustable.
