ANNULAR KNOB-ON-DISPLAY DEVICES AND RELATED APPARATUSES
Annular knob-on-display (KoD) devices and related apparatuses. An apparatus includes a frame having substantially annular shape, a dome switch, a plurality of actuator members, and a plurality of pivot members. Respective pivot members of the plurality of pivot members secures an actuator member of the plurality of actuator members to the frame and transfers force applied to the actuator member to the dome switch.
Hybrid propulsion system cockpit interface
An example system includes a throttle control for managing power in a hybrid propulsion system that includes an electrical propulsion unit configured to operate using electrical energy sourced from an electrical energy storage system (ESS) and/or one or more electrical generators, the throttle control comprising: a control lever movable through a plurality of positions, the plurality of positions including: a regeneration position; an off position; a maximum electric only position; a maximum continuous dual source position; and a maximum non-continuous dual source position.
Input device
An input device includes: a first electrode including a reference potential electrode and two or more sets each including a transmission electrode and a reception electrode; and a second electrode that approaches and recedes from the two or more sets by rotating while facing the first electrode with a predetermined space being provided therebetween. The reference potential electrode faces at least a portion of the second electrode as a result of the second electrode approaching at least one set out of the two or more sets. A phase when a first set of first transmission and reception electrodes disposed in a first region approaches and recedes from the second electrode is different from a phase when a second set of second transmission and reception electrodes disposed in a second region approaches and recedes from the second electrode.
Electronic dial apparatus and electronic apparatus
An electronic dial apparatus includes a rotating operation member, a conductive member rotating with the rotating operation member, a conductive pattern having a plurality of conductive areas electrically insulated from one another, the conductive member being configured to slidably contact the conductive pattern as the rotating operation member rotates, and a mode setter that sets a plurality of modes in accordance with a set position of the rotating operation member. The mode setter sets one of the plurality of modes based on a combination of a plurality of signal levels that depend on a contact position between the conductive member and the conductive pattern. The mode setter sets at least one of the plurality of modes for two combinations of the plurality of signal levels different from all combinations of the plurality of signal levels corresponding to each set position of the rotating operation member.
Antenna reflector interchange mechanism
An interchange mechanism for deploying at least one reflector for reconfiguration of a spacecraft antenna. The interchange mechanism includes a rotary actuator having a fixed section mounted on an antenna structure and a mobile section rotating relative to the fixed section about a rotation axis. At least one carrier supports a reflector and is freely rotatably mounted on the fixed section for rotation about the rotation axis between first and second angular positions. An arm mounted on the mobile section carries a carrier engaging mechanism that successively and releasably engages the at least one carrier and displaces the at least one carrier from the first to the second angular position when the arm and the mobile section rotate in a first direction.
Work machine operation apparatus and work machine
A work machine operation apparatus that appropriately provides an operational feeling to an operator is provided. A base includes a plurality of first holes each having a first dimension. The base includes a plurality of second holes each having a second dimension different from the first dimension. An interval at which two adjacent first holes are arranged is different from an interval at which two adjacent second holes are arranged. A contact portion is in contact with the base. The contact portion can move relatively to the base and can selectively be engaged with any one of the plurality of first holes and the plurality of second holes. A biasing portion applies to the contact portion, biasing force in a direction in which the contact portion is brought in contact with the base. Upon accepting an input operation, an operational input portion moves the contact portion relatively to the base.
MOUNTING DEVICE FOR A LEVER CONFIGURED FOR CONTROLLING A MARINE VEHICLE
The present invention relates to a mounting device (30) for a lever (10) configured for controlling a marine vessel. The mounting device (30) is configured to hold a lever element (14) rotatably about a rotation axis (32) and to adjust an amount of resistance against moving the lever element (14) depending on an angular lever position. In a first angular lever position range, the amount of resistance against further angular deflection increases with an increased deflection of the lever element (14) beyond a neutral position. The present invention further relates to a lever (10) configured for controlling a marine vessel and to a marine vessel.
CONTROL DEVICES FOR OPERATING BICYCLE COMPONENTS
Example control devices for operating bicycle components are described herein. An example control device includes a housing having an opening to receive a handlebar of the bicycle and a rotating member rotatably coupled to the housing. The rotating member is rotatable about a first axis. The rotating member is configured to rotate between a first position and a second position to change an operating state of a component. The example control device includes a securing mechanism configured to lock the rotating member in the second position. The example control device also includes a release actuator coupled to the housing. The release actuator has an actuating surface to be engaged by a user and moved along a second axis that intersects the first axis. The release actuator is configured to, when actuated, unlock the securing mechanism to enable the rotating member to rotate back to the first position.
INPUT ASSEMBLY FOR INPUTTING A CONTROL COMMAND AND OPERATOR CONTROL APPARATUS HAVING SUCH AN INPUT ASSEMBLY
An input assembly for inputting a control command for an operator control apparatus is provided, comprising a pushbutton head manually displaceable along a longitudinal axis and a movable signal transmitter which is coupled to the pushbutton head via a coupling mechanism. The input assembly comprises at least one latch element having a latch head which has associated therewith at least one latch depression which the latch head enters when the pushbutton head has reached a predetermined stroke position. The at least one latch element has associated therewith a travel groove oriented parallel to the longitudinal axis, which travel groove the latch head of the latch element enters permanently. The at least one latch depression associated with the latch element is arranged in the travel groove. An operator control apparatus having such an input assembly is also provided.
