A garment hanger having a hanger body and a hanger hook, hanger body has at least four notches, at least two notches are positioned on each side of hanger body for holding a garment, at least one or more notches on each side of the hanger have one or more teeth for gripping a clothing material inserted into said notches of the clothing garment, thereby prevent the garment from falling off the hanger, making the open shoulder garment look visible on the hanger in a closet and a rack, all while keeping the shape of the shoulder/sleeve.

The indentation defines an outermost edge nearest the free arm end and an innermost end nearest the hook. A garment hanger with particular ease of use advantage when removing or hanging crew neck or turtleneck type shirts or blouses. The hanger provides an easily manipulated and intuitive mechanism for collapsing the garment support portions of the hanger, thus allowing for simple passage through the narrow neck hole of a garment. The hanger further provides an easily manipulated and intuitive mechanism for returning the folded garment support portions to their extended and supportive positions, which can be done with the hanger enveloped within a garment, thus providing an improved means for hanging some shirts or blouses without the need to feed a hanger up through the bottom opening of the garment.

A clothes hanger for hanging pants is disclosed. The hanger includes a hook portion, a clamp portion, and an actuator portion to open the clamp portion. The hook portion is configured to engage and hang from a standard closet rod or other support. Some embodiments include a handle portion that is positioned such that the user may depress the actuator portion with the thumb of the hand holding the hanger to open the clamp of the clothes hanger. Other embodiments of the hanger include padding to help secure the pants within the clamp of the hanger and ensure the user's comfort when pressing the actuator portion. Further, the hanger may include a button-like trigger to allow the user to easily open the clamp to insert the pants into the clamp.

Each of the arms include a back arm segment, a front arm segment spaced apart from the back arm segment, and a curved end extending between and connecting the front arm segment and the back arm segment. The example hanger also includes a base connecting the hooks to respective arms.
