Information processing apparatus for indicating a quality requirement for a product
An information processing apparatus acquires print data of a plurality of pages, generates quality requirement data including information indicating a quality requirement for a print product based on the print data in a data-by-data basis or in a page-by-page basis, and information for specifying whether the quality requirement is defined in the data-by-data basis or defined in the page-by-page basis, and transmits the print data and the quality requirement data to a printing service for a print request. The quality requirement data is a file in a PRX format, and the file in the PRX format stores, as CustomerItem, the quality requirement in the data-by-data basis or in the page-by-page basis.
Printing device, information processing device, and control method and medium for the same
A printing system acquires device information from a printing device, transmits the device information acquired to a service providing device and registers the device information acquired, and receives registration information, from the service providing device, for the printing device registered to access the service providing device, with the registration information including an address of the cloud printing service provided by the service providing device and a signed certificate. The received registration information is transmitted to the printing device. The printing device of which the device information has been registered with the service providing device accesses the service providing device using the registration information to acquire a print job held by the service providing device and execute the acquired job.
Image forming apparatus that forms image according to instruction from remote location
An image forming apparatus includes a confirmer, a response receiver, and a controller. The confirmer causes the image forming device to stand by, without starting production of a printed material, upon deciding that a print request has been sent from a remote location distant from the image forming apparatus, and transmits, through a network I/F, a request for final confirmation just before starting, about whether the production of the printed material may be started, to a user of a terminal device that transmitted the print request. The response receiver receives a response to the final confirmation, from the terminal device owned by the user. The controller causes the image forming device to start the production of the printed material, upon deciding that the response from the user received by the response receiver indicates permission to start the production of the printed material.
IMAGE FORMING DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
An image forming device connected to a terminal device, the image forming device includes a recognition information receiver that receives recognition information that is unique information of the terminal device from the terminal device, a storage that stores the recognition information received by the recognition information receiver, and a determiner that compares the recognition information received by the recognition information receiver with the recognition information stored in the storage to determine whether the received recognition information is stored in the storage, wherein, if when the determiner determines that the received recognition information is not stored in the storage, the image forming device performs guidance processing that notifies operation contents in the terminal device.
PRINT INSTRUCTION APPARATUS, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND PRINT SYSTEM
A print instruction apparatus that communicates with a print apparatus includes a display section that displays a first image bundle including first and the second images, a selection section that selects at least one of first document information associated with the first image bundle, first image information associated with the first image, and second image information associated with the second image based on a signal received by a display controller, and a communication section that transmits print instruction information indicating an instruction for printing based on a result of the selection performed by the selection section. The communication section transmits, when the selection section selects the first document information but does not select the first image information or the second image information, first instruction information instructing printing of the first document information as the print instruction information.
NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PRINTING METHOD
When a general-use printing program receives a print instruction to cause a printer to execute printing of an image, a supporting program obtains status information of the printer from the printer and determines, based on the status information, whether a display condition is satisfied. The display condition is a condition to display a message based on the status information. When it is determined that the display condition is satisfied, the supporting program display the massage on a UI of a PC.
Image recording device
A controller of an image reading device is configured to obtain template data from an information processing device through a communication interface. The template data includes format data, first replacement data, and second replacement data. The controller replaces the first replacement data with identification data of the image recording device, replaces the second replacement data with detailed information, and generates transmission data containing the format data, the identification data, and the detailed information. The controller transmits the generated transmission data to the information processing device through the communication interface.
Printing without using printer specific software
A control method implemented in an information processing apparatus by at least one processor that executes print control software, the control method includes registering, in a print control software, a print queue in which first identification information is set, determining whether a device in which the first identification information is set is present on a network to which an information processing apparatus is connected, in a case where the print queue in which the first identification information is set is registered in the print control software, and changing identification information of the print queue registered in the print control software from the first identification information to second identification information different from the first identification information, in a case where a device in which the first identification information is set is determined to be present on the network.
PRINTING APPARATUS
There are provided a printing section that performs printing on a medium; a control section that controls drive of the printing section; a power supply connector that supplies electric power to the control section; a first receptacle connector that is electrically coupled to a first external device; and a second receptacle connector that is electrically coupled to a second external device, a plug of a USB-Type-C cable is configured to be physically inserted into the second receptacle connector, the plug is configured not to be physically inserted into the power supply connector, an insertion port of the first receptacle connector is arranged along a first connector surface, and an insertion port of the second receptacle connector is arranged along a second connector surface.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes: a processor configured to: in response to acquiring a first identification output from a different information processing apparatus, perform control of execution of a first process; in response to completion of the first process, perform control to cause the different information processing apparatus to output a second identification for executing a second process; and in response to acquiring the second identification output from the different information processing apparatus, perform control of execution of the second process.
