SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATIC CONTENT VERIFICATION
A method of automatic content verification may include requesting, from a server by an application executed by a client device, an item of content for display to a user of the client device, the request comprising environmental information related to an environment in which the item of content is to be rendered on the client device. A network interface of the client device may receive, from the server, the requested item of content. A renderer of the client device integrated with the application may render the received item of content. A capture module of the client device integrated with the application may capture an image of the rendered item of content. The network interface of the client device may transmit, to the server, the captured image, the server comparing the captured image to a predetermined image to identify any rendering distortion.
METHOD FOR DISPLAYING IMAGE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE THEREOF
An electronic device and a method for displaying an image transmitted by a robot and remotely controlling a movement of the robot are provided. The electronic device includes a communicator, an inputter, a display, and a controller. The communicator receives, from the robot, an image photographed by the robot and time information. The inputter receives a command to control the robot. The display displays a screen corresponding to the image. The controller calculates a time delay between the electronic device and the robot based on the time information, control the display to display a graphical object to be overlaid on the screen, and control the communicator to transmit the command to the robot. The graphical object represents a field of view of the robot at a current time. The field of view of the robot at the current time may be estimated based on the time delay information.
Display device for measuring instrument, measuring instrument, method of analogically displaying measured value, and program of analogically displaying measured value
A display device for a measuring instrument, includes: a display screen of a graphic display module; and a processing unit for drawing on the display screen a figure changed in position or shape in response to change in measured value, the processing unit is configured to: calculate first coordinates on the display screen based on a pre-changed value of the measured value; draw at least a part of the figure on the display screen based on the first coordinate; calculate second coordinates on the display screen based on a post-changed value of the measured value; acquire as a redrawing region a region on the display screen based on the first coordinates and the second coordinates; and redraw the redrawing region based on a redrawing function for redrawing only a specified region on the display screen.
Virtual frame buffer system and method
A system for encoding and decoding a frame (also file), such as a video, graphic, media, or other frame or data, representing a real-time graphic output from a frame buffer, output by a video camera, or another file or data. The file includes frames each comprising macroblocks. Reference frame buffers (PFTs), virtual frame buffer tables (VFTBs) of equal number to the PFTs, each VFTB corresponds to a respective PFT, and respective sectors of each PFT for respective macroblocks are created. Frames of the file are encoded/decoded by successive encode/decode of macroblocks. A pointer is created in the VFBT associated with the PFT rather than encoding/decoding any matching macroblock. The pointer and its reference are relied on for each already encoded/decoded macroblock retained in the PFT. Processing, memory, bandwidth and power requirements for encoding or decoding are reduced.
Method and system for identifying drawing primitives for selective transmission to a remote display
Remote desktop servers include a display encoder that maintains a secondary framebuffer that contains display data to be encoded and transmitted to a remote client display and a list of display primitives effectuating updated display data in the secondary framebuffer. The display encoder submits requests to receive the list of drawing primitives to a video adapter driver that receives and tracks drawing primitives that, when executed, update a primary framebuffer.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD OF INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
According to one aspect of the present disclosure, an information processing apparatus comprises at least one memory and at least one processor which function as: a display unit configured to perform control to display a window displayed by application software; and a control unit configured to perform control to, in response to execution of a particular operation corresponding to an operation to provide an instruction for execution of a particular process, display a predefined display content while displaying the window without executing the particular process, wherein the control unit is further configured to perform control to, in response to occurrence of the particular operation, display a predetermined display item for a predetermined time before displaying the predefined display content and then display the predefined display content, and the predetermined display item indicates that processing latency is ongoing.
Method of dividing screen areas and mobile terminal employing the same
A method of supporting divided screen areas and a mobile terminal employing the same are disclosed. The method includes: generating input signals for one of sequentially and simultaneously activating a plurality of user functions; activating the user functions according to generated input signals; dividing a screen into divided screen areas that correspond to activated user functions; and outputting functional view areas associated with the activated user functions to the corresponding divided screen areas.
System and method for locally generating data
A method provides pre-rendered information messages for display by a peripheral display unit connected to a base station over a data link. The method involves detecting that a data connection between the base station and the peripheral display unit is available, sending pre-rendered information messages from the base station to the peripheral display unit, and storing the pre-rendered information messages at the peripheral display unit for display in response to a status detected at the peripheral display unit. The base station may perform the pre-rendering of information messages in response to variation in configuration information relating to the peripheral display unit. The pre-rendered information messages may be paired with peripheral display unit statuses and the peripheral display unit may be configured so that, in the event that a particular status is detected, the corresponding pre-rendered information message is displayed without requiring data transmission from the base station.
Link bandwidth improvement techniques
One embodiment provides a video transport system. The video transport system includes graphics processing circuitry to generate a video transport unit (TU) corresponding to a scan line of a first video frame that is unchanged from a second video frame, wherein the video TU includes a control sequence and an unchanged data payload corresponding to a defined number of pixels of the scan line of the first video frame. The video transport system of this embodiment also includes source tunneling bridge circuitry to generate a bus TU based on the video TU; the source tunneling bridge circuitry to parse the control sequence or the unchanged data payload of the video TU, and to generate the bus TU having a header that includes a field to identify the defined number of pixels of the unchanged data payload, and to eliminate, in whole or in part, the unchanged data payload in the bus TU.
