IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND DISPLAY DEVICE
An image processing method applied to a display device having a processing circuit and a screen and includes: receiving a first image from one of a plurality of electronic devices; detecting whether the first image has a black border area; and if the first image has the black border area, performing a first display operation, wherein performing the first display operation includes: removing the black border area of the first image, to generate a second image; adjusting the size of the second image according to the size of a display area of the screen; calculating a first blank area of the screen based on the adjusted second image; requesting a third image from another one of the electronic devices according to the size of the first blank area; and filling the display area of the screen with the adjusted second image and the third image.
Modular display assembly for vehicles
A modular display system for a vehicle is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of display units that may be arranged along an exterior of the vehicle in different orientations. The system offers a modular, scalable, accessible, and simplified approach to exterior displays for automated and other types of vehicles. The displays, being modular, are not tied to the specific mounting location on the vehicle's exterior. The image data for each display is rotated based on the orientation of the display as installed which is identified by reference to the distinct pin connections of each display's control port.
Multi-user extended reality viewing technique
In this patent, an improved multi-user extended reality viewing technique is disclosed. A first user and a second user can be geographically separated and view the same volume. The first user can manipulate a virtual object and the second user can see the manipulated virtual object. A set of techniques are disclosed herein to cause the virtual object as it is presented to each user to be eye appealing and prevent dizziness and nausea.
IMAGE PROJECTION MEDIUM AND DISPLAY PROJECTION SYSTEM USING SAME
A heads up display system includes a display medium in combination with a dock or support configured to receiving a portable electronic device. The display of the portable electronic device is projected by the display medium, such as in a forward direction. The vehicle dashboard or a surrounding area can have an integral dock, which can be at a top of a gauge visor, bottom of a gauge visor, is displace below vehicle gauges. In each case, an aperture may be provide to provide a path from the display of the electronic device to the display medium. In some embodiments, the heads up display system may include a dedicated display that mirrors the display of the portable electronic device, via a wired or wireless connection.
INTEGRATED DISPLAY DEVICE FOR MOBILE TERMINAL
Disclosed herein is an integrated display device for a mobile terminal. The integrated display device includes: a terminal connection module including an accommodation part configured to accommodate a mobile terminal, and a docking part connected to the mobile terminal via a multimedia transmission and reception terminal and configured to receive image data output from the mobile terminal; and a display module including a display part configured to include a display device larger than a display device of the mobile terminal, and a controller configured to include a resizing module adapted to resize the image data received from the docking part and provide the resized image data to the display part; wherein the display module is integrated with one side surface of the terminal connection module; and wherein at least one operation button is located on the front surface of the accommodation part.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR NAVIGATING A PRINCIPAL DIMENSION OF A DATA SPACE
Systems and methods are described for navigating through a data space. The navigating comprises detecting a gesture of a body from gesture data received via a detector. The gesture data is absolute three-space location data of an instantaneous state of the body at a point in time and physical space. The detecting comprises identifying the gesture using the gesture data. The navigating comprises translating the gesture to a gesture signal, and navigating through the data space in response to the gesture signal. The data space is a data-representational space comprising a dataset represented in the physical space.
DISPLAY APPARATUS, DISPLAY METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
Videos are to be displayed in parallel, without missing information or a decrease in efficiency in the usable display region.
The aspect ratio of the large screen of an information processing apparatus 100 is 16:9, which is compatible with a Hi-Vision video. In a case where the large screen is used in a portrait layout, if the large screen is divided into three small screens in the vertical direction, the aspect ratio of the small screens after the dividing is 9:16/3=16:9.48. With respect to the original video content at 16:9, the ratio in inches is 9/16=56.25% (the area ratio is (9/16).sup.2=31.64%). Accordingly, the usable display region can be efficiently used.
MOBILE TERMINAL
The present disclosure discloses a mobile terminal, including a first screen and a second screen; the first screen has a first display panel, the second screen has a second display panel, a direction of the first display panel and that of the second display panel are opposite, at least one of the first screen and the second screen is a reflection liquid crystal display, and when one of the screens is working, the other one is closed. By the method above, the disclosure can reduce energy consumption of the mobile terminal in some extent and improve endurance of the mobile terminal.
VEHICLE DISPLAY SYSTEM, MOBILE TERMINAL APPARATUS, AND VEHICLE DISPLAY PROGRAM
According to a vehicle display system, a mobile terminal apparatus includes: a primary-screen-view display section that displays an output screen-view generated with execution of an application on the mobile terminal apparatus as a primary screen-view; a conversion section that converts the primary screen-view into a secondary screen-view complying with a vehicle apparatus; a manipulation layer generation section that generates a manipulation layer to manipulate the application; a state layer generation section that generates a state layer indicating a state of the mobile terminal apparatus; and a transmission section that transmits the secondary screen-view, the manipulation layer, and the state layer to the vehicle apparatus. The vehicle apparatus includes a secondary-screen-view display section that displays the manipulation layer and the state layer on the vehicle apparatus itself together with the secondary screen-view.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING PLURALITY OF DISPLAYS AND CONTROL METHOD
According to various examples of the present invention, an electronic device for controlling a plurality of displays can comprise: a first display for displaying a first screen; a second display for displaying a second screen; and a control unit for determining attributes of the first screen and the second screen, for determining whether to display, on a display that does not enter into an idle mode, a screen displayed on a display that enters into the idle mode in correspondence to the entry into the idle mode of either the first display or the second display, and for controlling the first display or the second display such that the first screen or the second screen is displayed thereon. In addition, various other examples are possible.
