characterized in that a detector unit is provided, which is designed for detecting an incorrect positioning, which differs from a desired positioning, of the electronic shelf label, and for outputting an action signal when the incorrect positioning is detected, and in that the electronic shelf label is designed to change the image content when the action signal is present.

MULTI-LAYER REPROJECTION TECHNIQUES FOR AUGMENTED REALITY

This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for multi-layer reprojection techniques for augmented reality. A display processor may obtain a layer of graphics data including a plurality of virtual objects. Each the plurality of virtual objects may be associated with at least one bounding box of a plurality of bounding boxes. The display processor may further obtain metadata indicative of at least one edge of the at least one bounding box of the plurality of bounding boxes, and metadata corresponding to reprojection instructions associated with each of the plurality of bounding boxes. The display processor may reproject the plurality of virtual objects based on the metadata indicative of the at least one edge of the at least one bounding box and the metadata corresponding to the reprojection instructions.

VIDEO DISPLAY DEVICE AND VIDEO DISPLAY METHOD

A video display device comprising; a display; an exercise amount detection sensor configured to detect an exercise amount of a viewer while the viewer is viewing content displayed and output sensor information; a timer that measures a viewing time; and a processor. The processor: acquires the viewing time from the timer; calculates the exercise amount of the viewer based on the sensor information acquired within a predetermined period of viewing time; compares the exercise amount with an exercise facilitation threshold for determining whether to facilitate exercise for the viewer; displays a specific object within a display area of the display when the exercise amount falls below the exercise facilitation threshold; and moves the specific object from an inside of the display area to an outside thereof in accordance with an external coordinate system expressing a position in a real space associated with a two-dimensional coordinate system in the display area.

DISPLAY CONTROLLER, HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY, AND IMAGE DISPLAYING METHOD
20230042926 · 2023-02-09 · ·

In a display controller, a standard information acquisition unit 76-acquires at least one of a luminance characteristic and a color gamut of a standard display panel. A luminance information storage unit of an output adjustment unit stores a measurement value of a luminance characteristic of a panel of a displaying destination. A luminance range adjustment unit gradually adjusts a luminance range for an image to be a luminance range same as that of the standard display panel. A color gamut information storage unit stores a measurement value of a color gamut of the panel of the displaying destination. A color adjustment unit adjusts a pixel value of an image on the basis of the color gamut such that the image is displayed in a color same as that on the standard display panel.

The image display device may include a frame wearable on a user's face, a display unit, display controlling unit causing the display unit to display an image, and a joint portion provided on the frame, capable of having the first attachment mounted thereon, capable of having the second attachment mounted thereon, and capable of selectively having one of the first and second attachments mounted thereon when the image display device is used. The first attachment may include an engaging portion capable of engaging with a use's head and a first attaching portion that attaches the engaging portion to the joint portion. The second attachment may include a fixing portion fixable to headwear covering the user's head and a second attaching portion that attaches the fixing portion to the joint portion.

Product showcase system

Systems disclosed herein are directed to a display fixture having a display surface, dynamic input blocks disposed along the display surface, and a display screen positioned on the display surface next to the dynamic input blocks. Each of the dynamic input blocks displays content associated with a product. In response to a user interaction with one of the dynamic input blocks, the display screen displays content related to the product associated with the one dynamic input block. The content and associated products displayed on the dynamic input blocks automatically change in response to an external input.

A virtual reality augmented massage therapy system and method is disclosed. Using this system taps into all of the key senses that people use to evaluate their surroundings, which in turn helps them to relax and feel comfortable. Simply stated, the more stimulus inputs a person's brain receives to determine its presence in an environment, the more immersed the person will become in the generated environment.

Modular display assembly for vehicles

A modular display system for a vehicle is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of display units that may be arranged along an exterior of the vehicle in different orientations. The system offers a modular, scalable, accessible, and simplified approach to exterior displays for automated and other types of vehicles. The displays, being modular, are not tied to the specific mounting location on the vehicle's exterior. The image data for each display is rotated based on the orientation of the display as installed which is identified by reference to the distinct pin connections of each display's control port.

Constrained rendering

In one embodiment, a computing system may determine a group of subpixels, that are associated with different color channels, within a display region of a display. The system may determine a micro-pixel corresponding to a basic unit shape configured to evenly divide the display region and each subpixel. The system may represent the display region as a group of micro-pixels and each subpixel as a combination of one or more micro-pixels in the group of micro-pixels. The system may determine a constraint for each color channel of the display region based on the group of micro-pixels. The constraint may constrain the micro-pixels associated with a same subpixel to have a same color value. The system may generate, based on an optimization process using the constraint, a filter for the display region. The filter may be configured to adjust image pixel values to be displayed by the group of subpixels.
