Adjusting volume levels

In general, user interfaces for controlling a plurality of multimedia players in groups are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, a user interface is provided to allow a user to group some of the players according to a theme or scene, where each of the players is located in a zone. When the scene is activated, the players in the scene react in a synchronized manner. For example, the players in the scene are all caused to play a multimedia source or music in a playlist, wherein the multimedia source may be located anywhere on a network. The user interface is further configured to illustrate graphically a size of a group, the larger the group appears relatively, the more plays there are in the group.

A system for generating outputs to a user in dependence upon audio emitted by one or more audio markers, the system comprising an audio detection unit operable to detect audio emitted by one or more of the audio markers, the audio markers being configured to emit audio in accordance with one or more predetermined conditions, an audio marker locating unit operable to determine one or more properties, including at least a proximity to a user, of audio markers in dependence upon the detected audio corresponding to that audio marker, and a rendering unit operable to output one or more images for display to a user in dependence upon one or more of the determined properties of the one or more audio markers.

DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING HEADPHONE VOLUME

A display apparatus, which is electrically connected to a host, is provided. The display apparatus includes a display panel, a display controller, an audio interface, and an audio-processing chip. The display controller is configured to control displaying of the display panel. The audio interface includes a detection circuit configured to detect whether a pair of headphones is plugged into the audio interface. The audio-processing chip is configured to receive an audio signal from the host, and to convert the audio signal into an output audio signal. When the detection circuit detects that the pair of headphones has been plugged into the audio interface, the audio-processing chip adjusts strength of the output audio signal according to a headphone-volume setting of the display apparatus, and transmits the adjusted output audio signal to the pair of headphones for playback through the audio interface.

An information processing terminal includes a display, an identifier, an arrangement data generator, an obtainer, and a display processor. The identifier identifies a model of an I/O device that includes a plurality of input/output terminals. The arrangement data generator generates arrangement data that shows arrangement of the plurality of input/output terminals, based on an identification result of the identifier. The obtainer obtains an audio processing parameter corresponding to each of the plurality of input/output terminals. The display processor displays the audio processing parameter corresponding to each of the plurality of input/output terminals on the display, based on the arrangement data.

Audio codec circuit

An audio codec circuit includes a voltage detecting circuit, an output processing circuit, a digital-to-analog conversion circuit, and an audio amplifying circuit. The voltage detecting circuit is configured to detect an input voltage of an input power. The output processing circuit obtains a first output compensation value according to the input voltage, an output circuit parameter, and a first output spec. The output processing circuit processes a digital audio and compensates the processed audio by the first output compensation value. The digital-to-analog conversion circuit is configured to perform digital-to-analog conversion on the compensated audio to obtain an analog audio. The audio amplifying circuit is configured to amplify the analog audio and output the amplified audio.

Media playback system with virtual line-in
11693619 · 2023-07-04 · ·

Example systems and techniques disclosed herein facilitate interoperability between different media playback systems referred to herein as a virtual line-in (VLI) media playback system and a native playback system. When a VLI session is created by a VLI sender, a first native playback device can join a VLI group as a VLI receiver. As a VLI receiver, the first native playback device receives audio content and playback commands from the VLI sender to facilitate synchronous playback with other VLI receivers. At the same time, this native playback device can concurrently operate as a native domain group coordinator of a native domain synchrony group. As the native domain group coordinator, the native playback device translates VLI domain audio, control, and timing signals into the native domain and distributes such signals to native domain group members. In this way, the native domain group members can synchronize their playback with the VLI group.
