MANAGEMENT DEVICE FOR MATERIAL TESTING MACHINE, MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR MATERIAL TESTING MACHINE, AND MANAGEMENT METHOD FOR MATERIAL TESTING MACHINE
This management device for a material testing machine includes: an acquisition unit that acquires at least either a captured image of a material testing machine body or a captured image of a control device that causes the material testing machine body to execute a test; and a data-processing unit that associates the captured image with the material testing machine and stores a result in an image storage unit.
System for recommending tests for mobile communication devices maintenance release certification
Techniques for automatically selecting device tests for testing devices configured for operation in wireless communication networks, based upon maintenance releases (MRs) received from original equipment manufacturers. When an MR with changes for a device is received, the MR may be analyzed in order to determine what the changes pertain to with respect to the device. The changes may be clustered with respect to requirements for the changes and a knowledge base may be consulted by a recommendation engine in order to determine candidate tests for testing the MR. The candidate tests may be based upon previous tests, failed tests and, relevant tests. Based at least in part on the identified previous tests, failed tests and relevant tests, one or more tests may be selected for testing devices with respect to the newly received MR.
STORAGE DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF
A storage device and operating method thereof includes a storage controller configured to receive a get log page command from a host and transmit, to the host, log data about at least one context selected from among respective contexts of a plurality of components according to the get log page command, and a memory storing the log data, wherein the get log page command includes selection information for selecting at least one component from among the plurality of components.
Diagnostic scan
One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving, at an information handling device and in a pre-operating system (OS) environment, an indication to run a diagnostic application; conducting, using the diagnostic application, a diagnostic scan on one or more of the information handling device components; and generating, based on the diagnostic scan, a results report. Other aspects are described and claimed.
Automated testing for content receivers
An automated test platform is disclosed for use in developing and troubleshooting customized software for multimedia content receivers. The automated test platform allows developers to script test cases that permit interaction with multiple content receivers at the same time. The test platform can be applied generally to any client-server system. The automated test platform is used to create scripts, run the scripts on multiple content receivers, and view test results. A graphical user interface (GUI) is provided that allows technicians without any programming experience to build and run complex interactive test sequences in a modular fashion. Such an automated test platform can be used to test cable and satellite television set top boxes, as well as DVD players, streaming media receivers, and game consoles.
System, method, apparatus, and computer program product for providing mobile device support services
A method is provided for providing mobile device support services. The method may include monitoring a mobile device status. The method may additionally include performing device diagnostics based at least in part on captured device status data to identify potential faults that may affect mobile device functionality. A corresponding system, apparatus, and computer program product are also provided.
Systems and methods for instantiation of virtual machines from backups
Technologies including computer implemented methods and systems are described herein for providing instantiation of virtual machines from backups. Systems and methods disclosed herein do not require restoring the complete contents of a virtual machine from a backup prior to using the virtual machine. Systems and methods presented herein allow creating and running a virtual machine directly from a virtual machine backup. Virtual machines created and maintained by the virtual machine instantiation system may be, in turn, used for backup consistency testing, disaster recovery testing, or granular item-level restore.
APPARATUS AND METHOD TO PROVIDE A MOUNTED ELECTRONIC PART WITH INFORMATION RELATED TO A FAILURE OCCURRENCE THEREIN
An apparatus includes a plurality of mounting slots each configured to mount an electronic part including a first memory. The apparatus collects, through a first path, from the electronic part mounted on each of the plurality of mounting slots, event information indicating an operating state of the electronic part, and stores the collected event information in a second memory included in the apparatus. When the event information stored in the second memory has a first level of importance, the apparatus causes the event information stored in the second memory to be stored, through a second route, in the first memory of the electronic part from which the event information having the first level of importance has been collected.
Method for identifying a piece of defective equipment in an aircraft
A method of assistance for troubleshooting is provided. A purpose is to prioritize identifiers each associated with a piece of equipment the failure of which can be the cause of a fault within an aircraft. The method is based on transmitting to an expert system, a list of identifiers, and receiving, for each identifier, a family of pertinent parameters, with each pertinent parameter being associated with at least one sensor of the aircraft and taking measurements of the pertinent parameters. Knowing these measurements, it is possible to deduce therefrom, for each identifier, a priority corresponding to the probability that the associated equipment is effectively defective. A system for implementing this method is also provided.
Systems and methods to reprogram mobile devices via a cross-matrix controller to port connection
A computing device including: more than two Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports configured to be connected respectively to more than two mobile devices simultaneously; at least one processor coupled to the USB ports; and a memory storing instructions configured to instruct the at least one processor to reprogram, through the more than two USB ports, the more than two mobile devices simultaneously.
