20230025288 · 2023-01-26 · ·

In accordance with various embodiments and aspects of the invention, systems and methods are disclosed that create a system-level address map and create a report. A system description of an electronic system (e.g., integrated circuit (IC)) is received that includes configuration parameters. A tree representation of the system is created based on the interconnect of the system. Each port of the system is assigned a tree node. To create a corresponding system-level address map, the tree representation is traversed from target(s) to initiator(s), calculating the address transformation at each node. A report of the system-level address map is created, and defects such as address duplication, missing addresses, etc. can be identified and reported to the user.

DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD AND DISPLAY CONTROL PROGRAM

A display control apparatus includes a log processing unit that reads an operation log related to operation information and generates first and second object groups indicating operation information represented by first and second visualized representations in first and second two-dimensional planes of a three-dimensional, respectively, the second two-dimensional plane being that is different from the first two-dimensional plane, such that a position of a first object of the first object group and a position of a second object of the second object group which indicate same operation information match on a common axis of the first and second two-dimensional planes, a display control unit that sets a coordinate of each of the first and second objects on the common axis, and a visualization unit that draws an object corresponding to an instructed visualized representation in accordance with the coordinates to perform screen display.

STORAGE DEVICE READ-DISTURB-BASED READ TEMPERATURE MAP UTILIZATION SYSTEM

A storage device read-disturb-based read temperature map utilization system includes a storage device chassis housing a storage subsystem. A local read temperature utilization subsystem in the storage device chassis determines read disturb information for a plurality of blocks in the storage subsystem, uses it to identify a subset of rows in block(s) in the storage subsystem that have a relatively higher read temperature and, based on those read temperature identifications, generates a local logical storage element read temperature map that identifies a subset of logical storage elements associated with the storage subsystem that have a relatively higher read temperature. The local read temperature utilization subsystem then moves data from first block(s) in the storage subsystem to second block(s) in the storage subsystem based on relative read temperatures identified in the local logical storage element read temperature map.

Storage network with enhanced data access performance

A method for execution by a storage network begins by issuing a decode threshold number of read requests for a set of encoded data slices to a plurality of storage units of a set of storage units and continues by determining whether less than a decode threshold number of read requests has been received in a time window. The method continues by identifying one or more encoded data slices encoded data slices associated with read requests of the decode threshold number of read requests that have not been received and for an encoded data slice of the one or more encoded data slices, issuing a priority read request to a storage unit storing a copy of the encoded data slice. The method then continues by receiving a response from the storage unit storing the copy of the encoded data, where the storage unit storing the copy of the encoded data slice is adapted to delay one or more maintenance tasks in response to the priority read request.

Method to analyze impact of a configuration change to one device on other connected devices in a data center

Various systems and methods are provided for analyzing the effect(s) that a configuration change to one device has on other connected devices. In one embodiment, the disclosed functionality includes determining connectivity information associated with a data center, where the data center comprises at least a first device and a second device; discovering one or more changes to a configuration of the first device; determining, based at least in part on the connectivity information, that the second device is impacted by the one or more changes to the configuration of the first device; and determining one or more impacts to the second device as a result of the one or more changes, where each of the one or more impacts indicates a positive impact to the second device, a negative impact to the second device, or no impact to the second device.

Interactive electronic documentation for operational activities

Various embodiments support or provide for interactive electronic documentation (or an electronic document) for operational activities associated with a system or service, such as one monitored or maintained by a system administrator or engineer. In particular, some embodiments provide for an interactive electronic document associated with a runbook, which can comprise a set of actions (e.g., list of operations, procedures, steps, and the like) to be performed with respect to a system or service in connection with an operational event, such as a system/service incident, scheduled maintenance, or a support operation.

Self-monitoring

The present approach relates to event monitoring and management of an instance using a generated service map, allowing monitoring of CIs (e.g., applications) and connections that are currently active in a user's specific instance. A self-monitoring solution is generated for a user (e.g., via an application) that depicts status, configuration, and errors related to the user's instance. In certain implementations, the present techniques involve applying internal knowledge of the working of a user's instance and applications to perform the self-monitoring, and determine when an alert should be generated. Further, the present techniques may involve making a determination to provide a user with a self-help solution in addition or based on the self-monitoring of the user's instance.

Managing data from internet of things (IoT) devices in a vehicle

A method and system for communicating with IoT devices connected to a vehicle to gather information related to device operation or performance is disclosed. The system makes a copy of at least a portion of the device's non-volatile memory and/or receives IoT device data (e.g., sensor data and/or log files etc.) from an IoT device that recently failed. The system determines which log files and/or sensor data, for example, the IoT device created before and/or after a failure. After gathering this information, the system stores the information, sends it to a storage destination for further analysis and diagnostics to troubleshoot the failure and send a fix or software update to the IoT device. The information can also be placed into secondary storage to comply with regulatory, insurance, or legal purposes.
