A universal serial bus (USB) signal transmission device, an operation method thereof, and a USB cable are provided. The USB signal transmission device includes a signal processing circuit, a switch circuit, and a control circuit. A first terminal of the switch circuit is coupled to a first USB circuit. A second terminal of the switch circuit is coupled to a second USB circuit. The control circuit turns off the switch circuit during a detection period to detect both terminals of the switch circuit to obtain a detection result. The control circuit turns on the switch circuit during a transmission period, and controls a transmission direction of the signal processing circuit according to the detection result.

Power efficiency based on a dynamic report rate

A method and system configured to receive a first report from a computer peripheral device by a receiver, determine that the first report is corrupted or received at a rate slower than the first report rate, compute a current trajectory of the computer peripheral device based on one or more intervals of movement data in the first report, compute a predicted trajectory of the computer peripheral device based on the first report, compute an incremental displacement of the computer peripheral device based on the predicted trajectory. The method and system can further generate data indicative of a position or displacement of the computer peripheral device based on the predicted trajectory of the computer peripheral device and send the data indicative of a position or displacement of the computer peripheral device at an interval that is less than twice a period of the first report rate to the host computing device.

Bus transceiver

In accordance with an embodiment, an integrated driver circuit includes: a first connection and a second connection configured to be connected to a control chip; at least one bus connection configured to be connected to a bus line; and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to operate in a first mode or a second mode; to output a reception signal at the second connection in the second mode, where the reception signal represents a bus signal received at the bus connection; to assume a state of low power consumption in the first mode; to change from the first mode to the second mode when a first command is detected at the first connection or at the second connection; and to change from the second mode to the first mode when the bus signal does not indicate any data for a predefined period of time.

Host controller interface using multiple circular queue, and operating method thereof

A host controller interface configured to provide interfacing between a host device and a storage device includes processing circuitry; a doorbell register configured to store a head pointer and a tail pointer of one or more first queues; and an entry buffer configured to store a first command from one of the one or more first queues in the entry buffer, wherein the processing circuitry is configured to, determine an order in which the commands of the one or more first queues are to be processed, route the first command to be stored in the entry buffer according to the determined order, and route a first response to be stored in one of one or more second queues.

Downlink data prioritization for time-sensitive applications

Various embodiments provide methods for Internet Protocol (IP) packet handling. Various embodiments may enable downlink (DL) data prioritization of IP packets for time-sensitive applications, for example by using differentiated services code point (DSCP) indications or type-of-service (TOS) indications in headers of the IP packets to distinguish prioritized IP packets from non-prioritized IP packets. In various embodiments, IP packets that are prioritized IP packets may be sent to another processor of a wireless device using a prioritized traffic handling configuration that has a lower latency than a default traffic handling configuration used for sending non-prioritized IP packets. Various embodiments may further enable uplink (UL) data prioritization of IP packets.
